LET ME START by saying if 0 stars were possible, or even negative stars, I would have rated as low as possible.
I placed an online order for delivery on Sunday. I was quoted 30-45min. delivery time, which I was fine waiting for. WHAT IS NOT FINE is that my order arrived (by way of DoorDash*) completely ICE COLD. I live 1.5miles from the restaurant.....and when I called and spoke with the woman who answered, I was first told the manager wasnt available, but she took my name and number and said he would call me. She then proceeded to tell me she didnt know how that happened because my food was made in 15minutes from placing my order. The food was SO COLD when it arrived (chicken and cheese nachos) and so soggy that my son could not eat his dinner and it all had to be thrown away.......
Fast forward to Tuesday - NO PHONE CALL from the manager - I call back and the phone is answered by the same lady.....who put me on hold by laying the phone on the counter for nearly 10 minutes..... Comes back to me and says the manager is not here.... She said he hadnt been there, BUT SHE SPOKE with him about my issues.... Yet I didnt get a call? She proceeds to tell me to call back for the manager at 3pm, but she's not sure when he is supposed to be in or if he is coming back. WHY tell me to call? She THEN proceeds to tell me the manager is typically there in the mornings but she would send him a text message (now my 2nd request for the manager to call me to resolve this issue) and have him call.......followed by "well we dont do refunds, it has to go through the delivery service (which I called.....twice.....and was told the restaurant has to authorize the refund**)
DOUBLE FAST FORWARD - IT IS NOW FRIDAY AND NO PHONE CALL OR FOLLOW-UP FROM THE RESTAURANT AS I ASKED FOR TWICE........so I call back. I speak with a different woman, again no manager there BUT SHE ASKS ANOTHER COWORKER ABOUT WHAT THE MANAGER SAID ABOUT MY ORDER - I have a hard time understanding how a manager can debrief employees about my order issues but NOT CALL AFTER 2 SPECIFIC REQUESTS....... THEN this lady tells me "well the manager hasnt called you because he doesn't speak good enough English to talk to you"
WHAT?!?!?!?
She then offers to remake the same plate of chicken nachos..... I pass..... Her response is "WELL its not our fault the delivery driver took so long because we had your food made and it was waiting on the driver"......AGAIN. WHAT?!?!?! SO my food was just sitting out waiting while it gets ice cold to the point all of my nachos were a soggy glob of mess??....... MY response was that it IS the restaurant's responsibility to follow-up on multiple messages left regarding an insufficient order ESPECIALLY if the manager has time to tell his staff about my issues, but not to the point where ANYONE calls or actually resolves my issues.......WOW
The lady proceeded to tell me she would call the delivery company to see what they'd need for a refund and call me back........ I still have yet to hear from lady #2 OR the manager...... So I call the company directly......they tell me it has taken so long because they received NO RESPONSE FROM THE RESTAURANT.
THIS WAS MY FIRST AND LAST ORDER WITH THEM ALL IN ONE. I come from a hefty background in food service and customer service, and I am STILL scratching my head trying to figure out what in the world they are doing over there...... NO accountability or resolution for their customer's...
Read moreThe only saving grace of this place is their food. My girlfriend and I came here for one of our first real dates so we had fond memories of this place. Had. Now we leave without eating any of our food and pay the full bill just so we didnt have to spend another moment in this environment. The second we were seated we looked at the menu to start crunching numbers to see what we could afford because lets face it thats what you have to do in this economy. We are struggling but I never thought I looked like I was. That all changed when the waitress came over. She took one look at us as we were finishing up deciding if we wanted to get soda and forgo cheese dip or if we wanted cheese dip and water. We decided on the dip and water but I guess the waitress had already profiled us long before the decision had been made because after she brought us our queso and waters she disappeared. She didn't bother to take our order for another 20 minutes just assuming we were poor and could only afford cheese dip and water. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. I felt so uncomfortable that any appetite I had left me and we took our untouched food in togo boxes paid and left. We tried to tell management but we were just brushed off with a quick “do you want to cancel the order?” No apology. No offer to make it better. This was a horrible experience. I used to think Fridas was a calm and welcoming restaurant but now I do not think I will ever return. I was beyond humiliated to the point I started crying and when the waitress came over to ask if everything was ok despite me obviously distressed she just ignored it and moved on. This was terrible and if anyone reads this I hope you never go to Fridas and experience their horrible profiling and...

I ordered a taco salad with chicken, it had no cheese no flavor just wet watery shredded chicken on lettuce in a taco bowl, disgusting. We ordered off the lunch menu they charged off dinner menu. We ordered chicken chimichangas with rice they forgot the rice. We ordered mac n cheese from the kids menu and it is obviously boxed Mac n cheese, it was dry and not mixed it had powder clumps in it. We ordered 21 oz margaritas and got 12 oz and got charged for the 21 oz. the service was horrible the food was horrible. Manager or whoever came over with an attitude and said well you ate it. Been going here for years food has always been good snd service good but not today. If you are Mexican you will get red carpet treatment. Our waiter barely communicated with us we had to flag down another waitress to get attention. Don’t order queso unless you want to spend close to $5 for watered down cheese dip less than 4 oz. The waiters there today were clueless and the food was disgusting. Won’t go back. Will try Casa Grande next time. Spent $53 for a miserable meal and miserable service and a manager with an arrogant attitude who seemed to enjoy being rude and arrogant. We were not rude to her but did inform her off all that was wrong and the best she could muster up was well you ate it. Yes I could’ve just sat there and continued to wait for the waiter who disappeared and asked them to take it back but it was getting quite frustrating trying to get someone’s attention!! All I ate wS part of the shell the salad was slimy from the watery chicken. Don’t go here. We will Never again. Lost a long time...
