This is the worst Starbucks in the state of Virginia hands-down . I try so very hard to like this location. I recently moved and this is the closest location to me. In spite of negative experiences repeatedly, I continue to frequent this establishment with the hope that my previous experiences just reflected an off day. No matter what I do, I cannot get flavor shots added to any drink I order. For example, my regular drink is a Venti vanilla latte with three shots. At this location when I order that item, I get an unflavored latte no vanilla . So at this particular location I ask for eight pumps specifically. In spite of eight pumps I'm still getting zero vanilla flavor. I find it odd because at every other location I go to I order this drink normal without any extra flavor shots and it's plenty of sweet and it's plenty of flavor. Which leads me to believe I'm not even getting 3 full pumps. At this location I ask for eight shots and it still taste like a bland unsweetened cappuccino. Last time it happened to me was right before close so I couldn't go back and get it corrected that will be the last drink I throw away from Starbucks never again save yourself the headache avoid this location it is terrible . And it's not just A one off type a thing I thought maybe there's a specific employee that's rushing and he's not fully pumping flavor shot into the drinks but apparently it's every employee because it's always the same no matter what time of day it is it is always the same . I have no idea why it's so difficult to simply pump a bottle. The only thing I can think of is somebody is rushing and not fully pumping. For every pump it's maybe a small fraction of one. Whatever it is, it's a regular occurrence that only happens at this location and I'm over it.

Read moreWe had to call corporate today and spoke with David to report a young caucasian woman with glasses at the drive thru window today. Wish we had gotten her name, because we've only seen her one other time. David was sympathetic, empathetic, professional, kind, understanding and patient, like most of the employees at the 8137 Brook Road location, but it takes one bad apple! My husband had asked for a carrier and bag, which he never has a problem getting, but this girl insisted that it's only for pick up and went on to tell him other customers were waiting behind him. Prior to this, he had to wait while she was carrying on a conversation with her co-workers. The reason my husband always asks for a bag is due to him having difficulty carrying the drinks without the carrier and bag in the house due to his back injury, and with me working from home I may not be able to step away in time to help him get the drinks. Something simple he asked for, which he never gets push back, did not warrant the young lady's rude behavior. We are loyal customers that go to that location every other day if not daily, either by Doordash or ordering at the drive thru, and it's rare to get that kind of treatment. She better hope in her middle age or sooner that she doesn't start having medical issues and gets met with the same inconsiderate behavior!
