It had been YEARS since we had visited and Wahoo’s and that was when we lived in Cali. When we saw that there was a location in Texas and heard that they were pretty good we decided to give it a go! First off we didn't realize HOW MASSIVE this property is! Talk about epic patio vibes! A deck patio, dirt area full with trees and shade. They even have lots of indoor seating options as well and a bar area. If you're a sports lover they legit have wall-to-wall TVs indoors and outdoors on their deck area! Plus they have a speakeasy-style tequila and mezcal bar that opens around 7pm (unfortunately it was closed when we got there!) We heard good thinks about heir food, so it was hard to choose, but we landed on their new protein bowl and some tacos. The bowl was packed with flavor and full nutrition facts ( on website) — huge win for anyone who tracks their intake or just wants to eat more protein and veggies without sacrificing taste. Tacowise we got a couple different tacos (Crispy Flounder, Shrimp and their wild Caught Fish Tacos). Also tasty, but the crispy flounder was a standout! Drink wise we got a cadillac margarita, coco rita and a beer/ They even have happy hour specials to check out! This spot literally checks every box — chill hangout, date night, game day, party, etc... They even have a halloween maze they're building on site which looks epic! Overall great food, amazing energy, and a patio that’s hard to beat. Highly recommend!

It was nice to finally see a Wahoo's again. My wife and I used to frequent the Wahoo's that used to be down off 6th West Street. Not there anymore. They had the best burrito with filet Mignon stuffed in there. All meat practically. I tried to relive the same experience with the new Wahoo but no such luck. It was mostly rice and beans. Little pieces of meat chopped up, not a lot. It's a little disappointing. My wife's meal with the fish strips was really good. I might try the 2 taco meal next time. Maybe get more meat. The Wahoo burrito dream is now dead. They have a good sauce bar. The green sauce is great. I'll have to try and come back. I bought a Wahoo T-shirt. I like it.

Stopped in town because we were looking for a later dinner post a sunset cruise. Didn’t initially intend to come to wahoos but really glad we did. There was ample seating indoors and outdoors and the lighting outside was really pretty! The tacos de papa, chipotle salad and burrito were all great and the salsa bar was an added plus. The service was quick and the value for money I would say was also pretty good for a town like Lakeway. The only thing we didn’t really like was the quesadilla so we would probably skip that next time. Overall, we really enjoyed and will stop by again next time we’re in Lakeway!

Okay. So we were at the water just came in for a cup of tacos. I said, no I don't want any fun drinks. I don't like fun drinks, and she just kept them going on how they're on him. I fountain drinks tea over there, dutted, and very forceful, so I bought a tea. I didn't really want, and then it was outside eating, and somebody comes from the place across the way, just to pick up my trash, I was in the middle of picking it app and they kind of like to assist me like I was doing something wrong. And then the taco was for $5 was very small ingredients, but the patio was delightful. I kept on insisting I didn't want a drink, but she just kept on talking about it. So I'm like, okay, fine. I'll get a small, and I ended up taking 2 zips and throwing it away, because I don't drink regular tea. I drink more organic tea and even if you say it was organic, it isn't something that I would regularly drink. So I will not be recommending your place. I was there to do a something on my podcast about it, and it will not the courtyard will be...
