I used to order a lot from this place since I live across the street but they are just becoming impossible. They have a minimum delivery order amount of $20 dollars and charge an additional $2.50 for delivery. For what? To bring it across the street??? Last I ordered I wanted to get a lo mein combination a straight forward meal, woman asks me if I’m going to pay cash or with a card. What difference e does it make I’m going over to pick up the order!!! If there’s an additional charge for using the card either adjust your prices accordingly or tell me about it before I start the order. It feels like they’re just penny punching here
Update- after months of not having ordered from them I decided to give them another try today. Nothing had changed about the service. Girl in the phone that took my order was kind of condescending when I had a few simple questions about their delivery policy, since I hadn’t ordered for such a long time, instead of giving me straight answers she kept on asking me what do you mean? We just deliver? When I meant was is are you charging a delivery fee? Is it still the same? Is there still a minimum order for delivery? I need that information in order to not waste my time if it’s not a good choice for me to order or not. Could have really done without the attitude more straight forward info. Got the food, couldn’t finish eating it how bad it tastes. Had ordered general Todo chicken, took a bite out of a couple of individual peace’s and they all smelled like fish, didn’t want to risk food poisoning and threw the whole thing to the garbage. Definitely last time I order from there. Won’t be coming...
Read moreThe food is fine. I'm not putting pen to paper to complain about that.
2021-04-28 I walk in and order pan fried pork dumplings. There is a sign that says "cash only". I looked at the menu where they have the pens to circle the order, and it says $5.05. I whip out $6 because with 35 cents tax that is $5.40. She asked for $6.50. She said "price go up 50 cents. I didn't add it up, I handed her $7. She hands me .50.
I go back to the car and get my calculator. $5.55 x 1.06625=$5.92.
I go back in and say hey, you miscalculated the tax. She said "I no can fix, machine said price; need owner come heyar". "I said all I'm asking is you to put it on paper by hand, you have to give me a receipt anyway, right? I want you to see how you overcharged me" "You want adumplins or you want acashaback? 50 cent is no dat big of deal." She hands me $6.50. I said as someone with experience with a cash business, no computer and overcharging what isn't the menu price is a recipe for workers to pocket money and I'm not contributing to that.
I said wait 50 cents of that is yours.
So my miscalculation after all that I tipped them for...
Read moreThis spot is our go to for lunch, you won’t be disappointed, I haven’t been dissatisfied with the food, the pork fried rice is legit fried rice. It has flavor and you won’t feel that heavy burden in your tummy after eating it, the chicken wings ufff great size compared to others around. This weekend I decided to try something new, chicken with garlic sauce, it comes with mushrooms and some veggies with a flavorful sauce, Delicious! Not all places make it this good. Way better than silver lake, Frank By a landslide. I definitely recommend this spot, and we will continue to eat here, especially with such nice staff. My co workers like Scott and a few others also eat at this place and we order...
