A Mixed Experience at Jin Sushi
During my visit to Jin Sushi, I encountered a blend of delightful ambiance and less than desirable service that left me with mixed feelings. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the restaurant's decor both creating a warm and welcoming environment. The staff greeted us with smiles, adding to the initial positive impression.
However, the pleasantness of the environment were somewhat overshadowed by the service timing. After being seated, we experienced a lengthy wait of up to 30 minutes before our order was taken. Given the restaurant's promising atmosphere, this initial delay was unexpected and set a tone of anticipation for the meal to come.
The wait for our food further compounded our growing impatience. Almost an hour passed before our appetizers were served, a duration that seemed excessive for dishes typically known for their quick preparation. This delay was particularly disappointing, considering our eagerness to dive in the experience seemingly promised by such an inviting setting
When our entrees finally arrived, it could best be described as decent. While the dishes were competently prepared, they did not stand out as memorable or exceptional. The flavors and presentation were satisfactory but did not compensate for the prolonged wait times we endured.
In summary, despite Jin Sushi having visually appealing decor and the friendly demeanor of its staff, the overall experience was broken by service delays. The wait times, both for placing orders and receiving food, were considerably longer than what one might reasonably expect, especially in a setting that seemed ready to deliver a pleasant dining experience. While the food was decent, it did not reach a level that could overlook the service shortcomings. Jin Sushi has huge potential, but the current execution of service does not merit a strong recommendation. It's a place that might be worth trying if you're in no hurry and have time to spare, but it's not a destination that warrants going out of...
Read moreBoyfriend and I tried this place on Wed and were completely blown away by how DECLICIOUS this place is. We had the Baked Lobster Roll, Baked Albacore Roll, & I forgot the names of the other 2 but who cares, they were ONOLICIOUS.
Our server Anita was friendly and attentive. She let us sample the ice cream to help us make up our minds. ♥️ The Banana Tempura desert is to die for! The portion was large enough for 2 people and for only $6 it was a steal!!!
The owner made our dinner and he was super friendly to us as we left, making sure to tell us ,” See you tomorrow!” 🤣🤣🤣
The food was so good we came back FRIDAY to further explore the menu. Tonight we ordered 5 rolls and my boyfriend had the Tonkatsu Ramen, which he DEVOURED completely! We tried the Cucumber Roll (VERY fresh, light and flavorful) SpiderRoll (clever presentation)Baked Salmon Roll (absolutely delicious) Tempura Roll (Crunchy & delicious) and my favorite, The roll that had the fried scallops. Forgot the name. But who cares, it was tasty!!
Atmosphere was alive and kicking. There were two chefs and they were fun to watch! Enjoyed eating great food and dancing while we ate. Friendly staff and clean establishment.
I look forward to trying more menu items! Great job to the staff at Jin Sushi! You’ve made life long customers! I am thrilled that they are part of the community. I over heard other guests say they were happy to have more (and better) sushi options. I’m a long time Trapper lover and I have got to say, Jin Sushi will take all my business. The quality here is top notch.

Read moreSuper sad regarding my experience at my regular spot, I’m assuming a new server since I have never seen her before.
It all started with me walking through the door and asking for a booth over a table. Within that moment I was met with instant attitude. I myself was in the restaurant industry for five years knowing that things can get busy but when they do better to communicate the situation or put on your brave face. I do admit I sat down to early before she was done wiping down the table. But with that being said her energy once again turned nasty and honestly not necessary for the situation. I let the server know the attitude wasn’t necessary and to be respectful. I left the situation alone and continued my evening but it was clear….the maturity level of this individual wasn’t there and I didn’t get the proper customer service like every one else. Again I get things get busy and I am sorry for asking for booth but I’m a paying customer and tip well and that server has lot more to improve on before she continues to...
