Chronic Tacos — Restaurant in Lakewood

This was my go to for Mexican food but this location has quickly gone down hill. In the past 2 visits they have run out of food. The first time they didn't have any of their potato tacos which is what it is bit I placed a mobile order and they never contacted me that it was out and they didn't make any of my other items in the order. When I got there the place was packed and I ended up having to wait for them to make my order that I placed online almost 30 minutes before. This week I wanted lattuce on a burrito and they only had 5 small pieces of lettuce. When I asked if that was all the lettuce for the burrito they just said yes, nothing else. I wanted more lettuce for 2 tacos and they just said sorry, no more lettuce. How does a Mexican restaurant run out of lettuce??? And the service was horrible. I...

So I go in to order a bowl, and I’m doing low carb and high protein. I ask for half fajita veggies (which comes with guacamole) and half pastor. So when it gets to the part for the toppings, she ask if I want guacamole. I said yes but it’s not extra because it’s included with the veggies. So then the girls behind the counter begin arguing me down to the ground that I don’t get the guacamole because I didn’t order an all vegetarian bowl. But my bowl was $20, cuz I wanted two proteins. So $20 doesn’t get you guacamole these days??? Sheesh, if it were me, I would have just said yea no problem. ITS GUACAMOLE!!! And it didn’t even look homemade or fresh. Not sure I'd call Chronic Tacos laid back. We had been frequenting this establishment since our move to the East Side several years ago. We found that the employees were generally friendly and we always tipped two-three dollars. However, today my husband and I were shocked to hear one of the employees condone the harassment of certain individuals. Even though this employee had begun to make one burrito, we were appalled and decided not to patronize this place. As we walked out the door, he shouted at us, followed us outside, and then shouted profanity toward us.
