Very crowded at times. I usually go to Ironwood 9 but since the rain storms 2 months ago they have not reopened the driving range. The next closest range to me is Hartwell on Carson st. in long beach. I like this place because the mats are all in good shape and they are open late (until 10pm) but the only problem I have with this place is that it gets so crowded, sometimes I have to wait nearly an hour us to hit a bucket of balls. I think all the ironwood 9 customers are coming here now. So, if you want to hit a bucket or two, be prepared to wait awhile or try to go when its not busy ( before 5pm). Read moreIf players took care of this place like the employees do and maybe had a Marshall to check people from driving on the tee boxes from time to time then I believe this place would be a destination for all golf enthusiasts. I really like the course layout and that you don't have to hit off of Mats. The staff is always friendly day or night shift and you cant go wrong with joining the players club for a free bucket of balls every day and a free beer if you play the course! Also, how do the children playing in groups of 4 play faster than adults? LOL...
Read moreThis park is huge. It goes from Los Coyotes Diagonal to Long Beach City college down Carson. There is a bike path that goes through the park. Parking fills up quickly during some mornings when games are in season. There is a lot of shade, trees and places to sit and relax. It's very much a dog friendly park. There is a pond with ducks, turtles and fish. There are people who fish out of the pond. The park is huge, so you won't have to worry about being around too...
