Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Lakewood

To start with this place is extremely dirty with trash everywhere. I tried to order a Carmel milkshake with Java chips like I do 2 or 3 times a week throughout the year. They told me Java chips were for blizzards. Only and could not be put in a caramel shake. And they couldn't make the Carmel shake. Anyway, cause that wasn't on the menu. They were extremely rude. I saw one of them reach and pick something off of the floor and put it in my cup. I was so grossed out I did not eat my shake blizzard thing that they made up off of ingredients from the floor. I went back in to get a refund and they were all gathered in a group laughing and making rude comments about the color of my skin and that I ate stuff off of the floor. I will never go back I did not eat it had to throw it away. I guess my special treat from Dairy Queen several times a week has come to an end I will be taking my business else where and so should you unless you like eating off the floor. Food is always hot and fresh and staff are always very friendly! Update 3/19. I am beyond upset. I went through the drive thru and noticed our cheese curds were missing. No big deal. Also noticed my fries and chicken strips are cold. Go inside to ask for fresh strips, fries and the cheese curds. The lady snatches my box of food, throws it in the trash and yells for the cook to drop fresh strips. I thank her and walk back to my car to wait. Come back and I thank her again. She never gives me eye contact or says anything. I understand its busy and it looked like she was doing the job of two people but come on. I get back in the car and the food is the same temperature as before. Idk if it was from the same batch or the original box she threw away. Not to mention when i got home my burgers were dry and one was made incorrectly. I visit this place often when im out in this area. Today i even brought a friend so he could give dairy queen a second chance ( hes had bad experiences in the past) $26...

HORRIBLE experience. We ordered through the drive thru and they parked us to wait for our food that we just spent $35 on. Waited 10 minutes and they finally brought our food out and we left and got halfway home and saw that they didn’t give us our fries with one of our chicken strip baskets that we ordered. Turned around and came back and asked for our fries and the woman pretty sure it was the Manager no less making the food behind the young woman at the register yelled not once but TWICE, “Yeah from the order that was placed 20 minutes ago?!!” — and nastily slammed a half filled “regular” order of fries on the counter, as if someone would lie about a regular order of fries. She was absolutely condescending and aggressive and we will likely never return to Dairy Queen after this experience, especially not to this awful location.
