I went for 4 donuts and a croissant, my son got a drink. Then forgot my cash so used my card. Then noticed I way overcharged. Lady gave me items I didn’t ask for and extra items. I repeated my order 3 times. Of course I have to speak louder with all the other people so they can hear me. The man was gettin upset because I wanted the difference back for items I did not want and was overcharged for. Then proceeded to give me back the incorrect amount shorting me a couple dollars. After going back and forth and him adding it up he added up different amount that actual cost of the item. I normally go to South and Downey for my donuts, but didnt feel like driving that far for them. So i decided to stop here. The donuts that I got were good, I also bought a ham and cheese croissant. I felt that it was okay, a little bland for my taste but it was filled with lots of ham. I also ordered a green tea smoothie with Boba. It tasted watered down and didn't have much of a green tea taste at all. I was very disappointed in the drink. The Boba balls weren't bad. This Granny's Donuts is about 1/4 mile from my house. Been going here for years. Good tasty donuts. I recommend the raised glazed, lemon filled glazed, cream filled chocolate and the glazed crumb donuts. They also have croissants. My favorite is the ham and cheese croissant.
