I've been to multiple Gravity locations, and this one was absolutely HORRIBLE. I go to the OLYMPIA location daily so I'm a frequent flyer. On my trip to this location the barista was flat out rude to speak with from the start, and then proceeded to make 2 separate phone calls after taking my order while pulling shots. These were not incoming calls she actually called them herself on her cellphone. The 1st call was to her manager to complain about not "having large garbage bags" I heard the whole call & I'm sure the car on the other side did as well. After that call both baristas we continuing to complain about the manager, and why she couldn't have at least told them about the bags being out. The second call was all whispers so I'm assuming it was a personal call. After getting off the phone the second time she brings my order, and it was completely incorrect (not surprised as she was completely distracted with other things) & had to be remade which she was not thrilled about. When she remade my drink she didn't even allow The entire shots to pull she just yanked The shot glasses in a rush & I got maybe half my shots due to her haste. The drink was absolutely undrinkable it was soooo bitter. She definitely did not tamp correctly it was very amateur. The line behind me was pretty long at that point as well so her poor behavior probably affects hundreds of customers a day. Everything I said to her was responded with snide remarks it was completely unreal. I'm still in shock how this person can conduct themselves like this, and still be employed. To top it all off I'm sitting here in shock that I still tipped as...
Read moreThis place just recently opened up in the Lakewood/JBLM area. I had been spotting it for awhile waiting for it to open, The only coffee shop in this area is Starbucks and for me it gets old so I was real excited for them to open and I like to support local businesses!
Now to get to the drinks!☕ the first drink I tried was a iced white chocolate mocha. That's usually my go to drink and it was great! I really like how they use a powder instead of a syrup for the white chocolate! The next day I went back and I ordered there Mermaid mimosa!... this drink let me just say is a game changer!! This is the 3rd day in a row that I've gone back and I ordered the mimosa again! It really is just super refreshing and I love that they put their own special energy drink (I believe it's called zero gravity) in with it, not to mention they use coconut milk! I was hesitant at first.. I'm just not a huge coconut milk fan, but i trusted there recommendation and fell for this drink 100%!!
I'm really glad that it's open now and relatively close to my house, but I would drive out of my way to come here and grab a drink! The girls are so nice and take the time to chat with you, there not just rushing you along to get to the next person! Nothin but good things to say about...
Read morePulled into this place because they were giving away free drinks and opted to upgrade to a larger size for a smaller fee :-) I noticed they were having a grand opening as I was heading to Starbucks across the street and figured I would give it a try. I actually came to Starbucks because I was hungry and wanted to get a double smoked bacon and a drink. I ended up getting their dirty chai which is chai tea with a shot of espresso. It was Very tasty! the place is really trying hard to make a big splash and I love to support small business so I will definitely drink coffee here in the future.
I hope that the owners read this and take my suggestion to heart. It's really difficult to compete with Starbucks when they have a full food menu and right now the only thing that is available are a couple of muffins and a cookie or two. there are vendors you can work with that would be willing to deliver food to your location either Frozen or fresh that you can then serve to your customers. I hope you figure this out because this may be something that could make or break you in this very small neighborhood. Best of...
