I had pulled in to order at the order screen and my car got stuck on the drive thru turn area. This has been the 3rd time this has happened qt this location and it bothered me immensely enough to mention it to the woman at the check out counter. I pulled up to the window and said to her as she runs my card, "I'm sorry, I know you probably arent the person to mention this to, but is there any way you guys can fix the bump over there? My car got stuck and it's pretty bad." I had a friendly and polite tone with her the entirety of this exchange, which makes the following bother me enough to leave this review. The lady then says, "I cant do anything about this. All I can do is mention it to my manager and then he mentions it to the regional manager and then he mentions it to the district manager, but as of right now, I cant do anything at all about that. I know many people have complained about it, but I cant go out there and fix it." So not only do I have her speaking to me with an unwarranted attitude (she had a very impolite and blunt tone in her voice), but then two of her coworkers start peeking out from the check out window towards me looking ready to get confrontational. I could absolutely understand this if I was being rude or aggressive towards the attendant, but I was nothing but polite so this HIGHLY bothers me. I respond in a casual way so to diffuse things a bit, "No, my apologies miss, I didn't mean for you to come out and pour cement or whatever to fix this, I just wanted to mention the issue to you guys. Sorry for the bother!" She ignores that and then asks if we need any sauce. I declined and then drove off.
I dont think I'm ever going to make an effort to visit this location ever again. Maybe if friends want to go, but I'm going to make an effort of not visiting this one if I have a choice in the matter: they made me extremely uncomfortable, I keep getting my car stuck if I pull forward too much at the order window, and the way the two employees in the back were eyeing me made me feel like I was about to get yelled at...all just because I wanted to grab a Crunchwrap Supreme and see if they could do anything (preferably just say "oh, I can mention it to my manager", which I feel is the common sense thing to do) at all about the road issue. Absolutely miserable experience.
EDIT: Called the store directly and voiced my concern to the manager, who was apologetic and understanding, so that helps a little bit. Nice to know that their leadership will work with you if there...
Read moreAndia provided great customer service at the window— I wish she could be the server at every location in Lakewood, because I would likely go to Taco Bell more often. This was the first time I had the Breakfast Crunchwrap and on the menu it showed it came as a combo with cinnabon donut holes. Im not crazy for fried hashbrowns so I thought this would be a great alternative. The menu board showed “bac/sausage” and “steak” for the meat options, but I wasnt sure if the bacon/sausage was an either/or or if it came with both, so I asked the server and she told me the difference in price for having both. She was very courteous and seemed happy to help. She gave me the drink choice options and completed my order so that I basically was out of there in less than 5mins, even with other cars in line with me. The food was fresh, hot and looked really tasty. When I bit into my wrap I was happy to see there was a good amount of ingredients and they were spread evenly thru the wrap, so that every bite tasted consistently good. If I was pushed to give a negative, it would not be the service or the food. The parking lot had a little bit of trash, a Modella beer box that was likely left after soldier/base guys ate the night before… but nothing that effected my service or would prevent me from coming back. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK TACO BELL— and please hire more people like the team who were working...
Read moreWent through the drive thru after work and order burritos. Got to the window and handed the manager my card to pay my $6.99 total. When she gave my card back I was told my receipt wouldn’t print...ok save a tree, that’s fine. Then the manager comes back a minute later saying she charged me for another persons order that was $8.50 more than my total and told me she wasn’t allowed to give me a refund but she could give me $15 in comps for my next visit. I agreed, sounds good and I hate when people act crazy with such a simple mistake but I’m still confused about why a manager can’t do a refund or void the transaction. She then comes back to the window and says “ oh my god, you’re gonna hate me” and tells me they have no beans for my order ( I ordered burritos) and offered me whatever else I wanted. I told her just give me some extra comps and I’ll go to a different location. Imagine my shock when she hands me a receipt with a HAND WRITTEN note for $25 and told me that she promises that it’s good for that location only. I gave it back and left, I’ll take it up with corporate and just get my refund that way. Or at least...
