Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Lakewood

My family and I went through the drive thru at the Tillicum Popeyes today and had the worst experience. There was no line in the drive thru, yet we were kept waiting 5 minutes before someone took our order. They said they were short staffed, which I can appreciate. When they took our order (just a sandwich and chicken tenders and fries w a drink), they had us pull over and said they’d bring our order to us. We sat and waited for 15 minutes. Again, there were no customers ahead of us at that time and the customers in the restaurant were already seated with their orders. My husband finally went in to see what was going on, only to find out the ticket for our order hadn’t even been pulled! While he’s dealing with this, I see another customer walk in, and get his order right away (I guess I’d have no way of knowing if he called it ahead? assuming he didn’t since he was eating in). They finally processed our order after another 5 minute wait, and didn’t even apologize that it took nearly a half hour to fulfill a small order. Only saying they were short staffed (there were three people working and no other orders to process). Anyway, shitty customer service and zero accountability for it. I wish I would have paid attention to the accumulated star ratings 😩 We’ve been moving around & were hungry late at night. My husband went to go pick up some food for us late on 10.21.25 @ around 10:20 pm (I want to be specific so maybe the workers can be spoken to.) here because it was the closest establishment. The way a male worker explained to my husband about their options at that moment didn’t sit right with me. He wasn’t saying rude words but his tone came off rude. It’s like he expected my husband to understand “Popeyes ways” after explaining the options. Like we are customers coming to your establishment, spending our money not only for the food but to be served with good customer service and be informed in a mannerly way. I was surprised by how fast they served the food. The spicy chicken sandwich they served me, was cold. The buns were cold. I thought maybe it cooled down on the way here but the bag they served it in didn’t even have a hint of heat in there. Really disappointed about that. The reason why I give it 2 stars is for their Signature Hot sauce. SO good! But the bone-in wings were smaller than an eraser. So sad. I won’t come to this location ever again & I don’t think I’ll ever eat Popeyes in a desperate...

I live right down the street from this Popeyes and go often. I will not be returning after my experience today. Most of the time I come the staff is extremely rude and don’t care to be there. They have one girl who is friendly but she rarely works. Today the line was long so I went in there were 4 girls behind the counter and I ended up standing at the counter for 5 minutes before the manager came from the window to take my order. When I got my food the chicken sandwich was so dry I could not eat it and my shrimp tasted like it had been sitting out all day. The food at this location is very hit or miss most of the time it is dry and not cooked properly. I find this odd being that it is a fast food place so all of the food no matter the location should be the same. I live so close to this place and I enjoy Popeyes but I will just have to drive to another location to get Popeyes when I want it. I can not stress enough how terrible the customer service is at this location I would never tell anyone to come here in fact I would tell people to take the extra 10-15 minute drive to go to...
