The Riverwood Cafe — Restaurant in Lakewood

I have never dealt with a more rude bartender in my life.Terrible. I’ve also never left any kind of review for anything, but this one is needed. I collected the plastic cups, piled them up, and put them on the bar.. the bartender ( super cute, real long dark hair, I was told that her name was Carson), told me that there was a garbage by the door.. I thought that it was a suggestion, so I said ok..within 5 mins, I cleared another table for “her” and put empty beer bottles and empty white claw cans on the bar too.. she SERIOUSLY looked me straight in the eye and said “ I told you were the garbage was. Why didn’t you use it. DON’T PUT TRASH ON MY BAR!! “ Swear my face turned red bc I was so mad. I didn’t say anything. I just walked away. I thought that I was helping by clearing off tables, but she just yelled at me. Then she wouldn’t serve me the rest of the night bc she said that she wouldn’t serve anyone that called her a b**. I never called her that, but whatever,. A ton of people saw what happened and vowed to never go back as long as she’s there. Walked in. Ordered a shot and was wrongly blamed for bad reviews online and told I wasn't welcome there. So, here's my first review: great food. Excellent really. Wings are to die for! Otherwise, it's okay. Would appreciate not being blamed for whatever issues they're having. Seems a little overly obsessive and weird, especially considering I rarely come here. Want some wings? Hit 'em up! I look forward to being blamed for whatever customer service issues they're having in the future! It takes a lot to piss off a pothead, but you guys made an enemy for sure. Please ignore the personal compliments to the Chef that I've had in person as well as copious, authentic niceties and encouraging conversations given to the bartenders and staff over the past year. I just wanted some sweet chili wings and a shot, but you guys are a little weirdly, obsessive and frankly it's offensive. We placed a takeout order from this bar yesterday and we couldn’t believe how good the food was! The bar itself was on the smaller side but seemed very laid back. The bartender was very nice to us upon going up to the counter to pick up our order. The online ordering process itself also made things easy. Their fries were very crispy. The chicken strips were also crispy and the breading was seasoned well. Our burgers were amazing! They were huge, had plenty of cheese, came with good portions of fries and were cooked to our liking. Their food was also very reasonably priced, especially for the amount we received. We were all absolutely stuffed afterwards. We will definitely come here again when we are back...
