When I learned Dunkin' was coming to Lancaster, I was quite hopeful. After moving from a larger city, I was excited to be able to get a nice size coffee for a reasonable price; however, I will spend my little bit of hard earned money elsewhere. The lack of customer service is unfathomable. I stood at the pick-up spot for at least 5 minutes without so much as a greeting thrown my way. I really don't expect much from the teenage boys in the front, but when the older lady in her 40s came around giving out instructions, I thought that would be my opportunity to get served. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. What I did get to witness was her being rude to a worker's younger brother. The boy asked to speak to his sister, and very rudely, the woman repeatedly said, "She's working. She's working. She's working." Then, a young teenage girl who was also in the pick-up line pointed out that she was rude. Their banter suggested they knew each other, and the teenage girl even stated that if she wanted something free, she could get it. This entire conversation was had without the manager ever acknowledging my presence. When I spoke up and said, "Hi." She told me that most people don't stand in the pick-up area if they haven't ordered yet. I told her I had. She asked for my name and wanted the worker to clarify that I had even paid. I asked her if she needed the order number, and she replied, "No, the name." I'm not going to get into the fact that my order number should have been sufficient enough, and the insinuation of me not paying could be offensive; however, customer service 101 is greeting the customer and acknowledging them. This manager did, however, do an excellent job blaming me for not getting served, speaking to me in a harsh and disrespectful tone, and modeling how to be sarcastic...
Read moreIm 30 years old with extensive food experience from fine dining to fast food. I started this job to make money while waiting to fix my vehicle. Upon hiring everyone seemed ok immediately that changed. within a month i started having extreme anxiety on shift due to how hostile and inapropiate the manager meranda, and assistant manager cassie are. Myself and other employees are routinely berated even long term solid employees are subjected to verbal abuse. My job was threatened over anything for example i accidentilly overfilled a sink i was screamed at for a good 5 minutes and told if i ever do it again id lose my job i didnt flood anything mind you i just overfilled a dish sink... I have worked prep, line and sautee for some very nice resteraunts I consider myself pretty experienced and capable ive never had issues like this im used to being a high preformer and being treated as such. as a new employee i asked the gm (meranda) how to make a wake up wrap i had only worked the station a couple of times and was still learning she responded by screeching "DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW TO DO ANYTHING?" I tried to keep my head down thinking that was the best way to endure the toxic workplace while getting things in order to leave. The abusive behavior only escalated to the point of me having to tell management they are making me uncomfortable. Things seemed ok for a moment then i was assualted by a shift lead during a close i expected this to be handled internally but it wasnt. Im currently working with law enforcement and an attorney to handle that. Im traumatized from my experience there and wouldnt have my daughters work in that enviroment so new employees beware. If i would have seen the reviews here before accepting the position i wouldve never...
Read moreWent in to have a quick breakfast ordered up 20$ of food and beverage and even commented to my son about how amazing the maple donuts looked... Dripped in maple all around .. SO EXCITED.. get back to the seat took out the 🍁 donut . A quarter of the donut icing was missing, and some parts weren't even covered with maple.. I was dumbfounded.. head shaking .. mouth agape. . brought my trash bin donut back up to the counter, wondering if the fantasy/reality drama unfolding was true or not.. and I approached "Mimi" who sold me the donut.. and actually felt like I was in a curb your enthusiasm episode.. I stated 'is it possible to get one of those delicious mapley delights" and her patronizing, and completely unprofessional manner as to which she handled the situation, inspired me to write this tasty review. 'Mimi' a note for the future .. don't serve such visually Challenged food, when there were so many bettet options . Don't serve the 'one' that doesn't belong...to customers..and realize that your huffing and puffing over a 30 cent donut and mumbling to yourself about "what's wrong with it sir' at least 5x in 15 seconds or during this whole exchange is unwarranted and should have been handled with GRACE.. instead we're here now .
Kudos to your management team for prepping you for a battle on the Frontline and doing it with kindness, humility and graciousness. Maybe . Just maybe.. your talents are more akin for BOH work .. just a mere speculation on my behalf.. but what do I know? I'm only the paying customer.. I also decided to give the atmosphere 2 stars because I...
