Google maps sent me to this location on west Avenue L based on our location when I asked for a Panda Express near me!

When we arrived at that location on Avenue L, I looked for their health inspection letter grade, but couldn't find it posted anywhere on the business entrance/exit doors and/or windows. Instead, it suspiciously was posted by the fountain drink machine inside the business where it looks like it's been altered.

When I asked a woman who identified herself as Kathy, who said she was in management, where the recent health code inspection grade was she pointed to the sign by the fountain drink.

A man behind the counter seemed interested in my question to Kathy, so I posed the same question to him, since he indicated that he was also in management, but Kathy wouldn't allow him to be questioned and instead, kept pointing to the altered, out dated sign, that's not legally posted.

She told me to contact the Los Angeles Health Department with my concerns, knowing it's a Saturday and that they're closed instead of just verifying the status of their recent health code inspection because I suspect it's not what's posted by the fountain machine!

I suspect there's an issue that the Los Angeles Health Department should look into, and perhaps Panda Express Corporate should look into, if this location on Avenue L isn't up to grade for quality, training, transparency, health, and inspection purposes!

Officer Karen Lawdawg tells the good, the bad, and the ugly in Killing County Kern and beyond!

Ok, so USUALLY--- I order my favorite dish which is the Eggplant Tofu. Alert!!! Stop the boat! They no longer have this product anymore and it's very sad because that was THEE reason why I went to Panda Express in the 1st place! It's also very troubling because they have almost absolutely NO vegetarian/vegan options now. Unless you count the fried rice (which I believe has a chicken-base). And the half-done veggie eggrolls...

I ended up ordering some type of chicken dish instead which tasted kinda not what I was expecting, however, still edible. The veggie egg roll... TOTALLY different story! Tasted like it wasn't completely cooked and the wrapping around it on the inside was slightly mushy like it wasn't done either. Tried my best to eat them but only was able to take 2 bites and that was enough for me! I had to toss them into the trash. I hate complaining so I never brought it back to the store. Overall, I won't be visting Panda Express again. Unless ofcourse... They bring back the...

First and last time coming to this Panda Express. I ordered inside since there was a long line in the drive thru. We walk up to order our food there's no line perfect. Yet the tall gentleman standing right in front of me I'm guessing was working on the orders from the drive thru. Which is fine but doesn't even bother to say one moment please someone will be right with you. My kids and I stood there for five minutes before the person at the register who was not charging anybody just standing there again the restaurant inside was empty finally decided to come and help us. I told him that was kind of rude customer service not being greeted or told that someone will be right with this or not even acknowledge us. All he said was I'm sorry and look down. I really hope the food is better than their service. If I could I would give it no stars!!! Yes and the Oriental lady was there too and did not acknowledge us!!! Wish I would have read the...

I am a HUGE Panda Express enthusiast, and I happened to find myself in HD (High Desert, not High Definition, lol) so I dropped by this location before driving back to L.A. Shoutout to both Whinter (yes, spelled just like that, lol) and Cenobio, who went above and beyond and were just all around kind people and offered great customer service. Whinter even went out of her way to bring me a cup for water (I ordered my 2-side combo and that was it) when she saw me eating by myself without any kind of drink. Cenobio made small talk (I had a Real Madrid cap on) and I admitted how terrible my team had been doing this season, haha! All around a great experience at this location. 10/10.

Is it only me? Every time I come to any panda location around this city the fried rice feels un cooked! It’s just bad! You feel the grains aren’t well cooked. People don’t mind it as I see some just eat it and the orange chicken some pieces look like they’ve been reused or re heated and glazed again. Everything else was perfect service cleanliness just the fried rice I threw the whole food away. I’m not gonna bother telling them as I have before and just seems management or cooks don’t care for this issue at all.
