Costco Food Court — Restaurant in Lancaster

There are times that I come to Costco just to get a bite to eat. They do have a short selection of food items to choose from, but it's obviously been selected carefully to hit as many costumers as possible. This doesn't mean that it's mediocre or not appealing, rather that they are focusing on key items and doing them right. Costco's costumer service is what you would expect from Costco in general, but they do seem understaffed. Because of this, they seem to get backed up pretty quickly. This also is made worse by the lack of order of the line and other shoppers blocking and cluttering the area with their carts. On top of that, of what tables are available, if any, are very dirty. The soda machines are a mess, and the condiments are not sanitary. If I could give a few suggestions, they would be to set up poles like the ones that restrict car entry but are wide enough for people to pass. Another thing would be to setup a clear area for lining up. I would have it a single line the employees can just call from to take orders. Lasty, I think rearranging the tables so there is a clear in flow to out flow would be smoother for the costumers. Right now, as I am writing this, the tables are setup like little water barriers. It is not apparent at first glance but overtime it has become problematic. I find myself getting bumped and pushed by both people and carts in this small area. Overall, you can't beat the pricing and quality but if I am not in the mood to deal with the forementioned problems, you probably won't...

Normally most of the food you order is very good and is at a price you can afford I think the hot dogs and the pizzas are the best priced I believe the large pizza is around $9.00 dollars and coke and hot dog is $1.50 hard to beat the price on the coke and hot dog, now as far as service it can be anywhere from very good to very bad depending on the employee they have working at the time but it's hard to give a bad rating for this hopefully they don't keep that employee to long I think the way they have lines set up for service now goes fairly fast, I do think they should have one window set up for those that have a disability I guess it would be gust nice if getting your food was made easier for those people...

The food was, as always, perfectly adequate. Nothing special, but cheap and reasonably filling. Standing in line for 25 minutes to get 2 slices of pizza after I had already paid; however, is the reason for my poor review. Fast food is supposed to be fast. At the very least, implement in your kiosks an "estimated wait time" based on the average time to serve each customer and the number of customers already. waiting...
