Savoy Truffle — Restaurant in Lancaster

Cute atmosphere. Strawberry banana smoothies were decent. Unfortunately we ordered two breakfast burritos and waited 45 minutes while the staff’s children and siblings ran all around the restaurant. Multiple people got served before us who ordered after us. The young girl at the front stated that “it might look calm in here but we have a bunch of online orders” and then proceeded to serve yet another customer who ordered after us. Having grown up working in restaurants - this was objectively poor service, and a disorganized kitchen. Also, allowing children to run around and touch the mixers etc that were in the open kitchen to the left having not washed their hands - not sanitary. Totally get owning a family business and balancing child care needs, there’s a balance to doing it professionally- this was not it. I'll start off by saying that I like the food here, but the service on this particular day was not great and rather disappointing. We came here because it was my sons birthday and he really wanted their bagel (plain) with cream cheese but they gave an everything bagel instead. I took it back up and said that I didn't order an everything bagel and the cashier told me that since she put it in as everything and I "agreed" to the order then she can't do anything about it. I know for a fact that I didn't order an everything bagel because I know my child don't like them and he got stuck with a bagel that he doesn't even like, on his birthday. I don't like leaving bad reviews, and i prefer to support smaller businesses. I went this morning and my bagel sandwich was very dry, bacon hardly the way it was from when savouy truffle opened. Its like they cook the egg put it on the dry bagel along with the bacon & cheese then wrap it up in foil (they definitely dont put the whole sandwich back on the griddle so it can get toasty) I remember when it first opened the sandwiches were coated with this light buttery taste & their bacon had like a very good sweet taste to it, the sandwich was moist & tasted very good, this is actually my second time I had this experience, the first time I just thought it was an off day or something for the Savouy truffle breakfast spot, things happen ..... but today it happened again therefore unfortunately I won't be going...
