The love is always authentic at Pavaa Gallery! Pavaa Gallery is a beautiful grass roots, underground hub for Black Afrikan culture and community in and around Lancaster Pennsylvania. The owners make up a diverse group of talented, raw artists and educators from across the diaspora which is what makes this space so special to me.

Pavaa Gallery has a unique gift to not only cultivate the potential in artists/creatives, but give them space inside their gallery to see it through. As a community artist/creative the owners gave me countless opportunities over the years to fulfill many lifelong dreams to include owning and operating a vintage shop as well as curating several original exhibitions and creative showcases. My aunt recommended me to PAVAA gallery after attending a few of Ms. Gerri's shows. I came to the gallery for 10 weeks under the mentorship of Ms. Gerri and learned various mediums of art. Her studio was always a comfortable and open place to work, and it was cool to be surrounded by so much authentic and culturally rich art. She greatly prepared me for my college applications, as my major requires a portfolio. I am proud to say that I have been accepted to every institution that reviewed my application. An AWESOME organic space!!! The space is more than a gallery. It has great artistry.
