The Fridge — Restaurant in Lancaster

I went here for dinner one evening with a friend. You have to order at the counter and then they bring your food to your table. We ordered slices of the tomato pie that was was a special and on display at the counter. They placed a slice on a plate but I wished they had warmed it up first. Regardless, the tomato pie was tasty. We just wanted water to drink and we were told to get it from the fountain. They have a water bottle refilling station for drinking water with cups up above it. That's where we got our water but there was no ice and the water wasn't very cold. The whole water experience felt a little underwhelming and cheap. I know they're more focused on their beer but I wished we could have had ice water. We also ordered mac and cheese to share and it was pretty awesome. The atmosphere is different but nothing to admire. There's a bar and some tables to the left when you walk in and additional seating to the right however, you have to walk past toilets on both sides of the walls to get there. It wouldn't have felt so strange if the doors weren't open and you weren't staring at toilets as you went to sit down and eat your food. The parking lot is quite tight. Overall, an...

My white girlfriend goes here for lunch multiple times a week and never gets carded. The 2 times I go with her, I'm carded. I'm 28 years old, half white half Puerto Rican... came here today for my friends birthday to grab a bite to eat and a drink. Sat down to look at the menu. Nobody else was carded except for me and my friend. He forgot he had to update his ID but he's 28 years old. Birthday was on Monday but they are closed on Monday and Tuesday so we decided Wednesday. His ID expired yesterday. We understand it's up to him to update it... but the lady at the register was telling us that she discriminated against us because of how we look hence why she looked at our IDs, then proceeds to tell us since it's expired, he can't be served... if she was looking for expired IDs, she would have been looking at everyone else's IDs to check if they are expired. Not just discriminate against us... it's like the cops, they'll discriminate against you then use it...

The fridge is EVERYTHING!😁 first of all, the pizza is absolutely the best you will get in Lancaster city...hands down! They are second to none in my book! I went in today to try the vegan pizza specifically and I gotta tell ya, I never had a better one in my life and I have tried them all! I am not a vegan but would like to incorporate more vegan meals into my diet and the one thing I could never find was a good pizza. They nailed it! I mean NAILED it! I don't know which is better, their regular pizza or their vegan pizza! It's WONDERFUL. The service here is always very good. The staff is warm and friendly and they will help you navigate their vast collection of craft brews to find your perfect brew. The atmosphere is so laid back and comfortable with their wood burning stove and couches to relax. The fridge is a gem in this city, such a wonderful place but be warned....once you have their pizza you are RUINED for all...
