The wait time is absolutely ridiculous. There is no customer service. This location just either needs to be shut down or one of the big dogs needs to pay a visit and actually train these workers.
I came in around 7 pm maybe 7:30 pm and right off the bat driving into the parking lot the drive-thru line was almost wrapped around the restaurant so I figured I would just go inside and order. BIG MISTAKE. There was at most two booths being occupied and two people waiting up front near the registers for their food. There was one man in front of me ordering his food and then when he stepped aside, I walked up to the counter ready to give my order. The lady behind the counter walks away. Granted, I think there were only two workers behind the counter and three in the kitchen. One lady was working the drive-thru line and the other lady… I assume was just doing everything else except acknowledging that I had walked up. I mean I get it, you’re busy but at least communicate with me that it’ll be a moment and you’ll be with me soon. Not that hard. But it was difficult for either of them to say. I was standing up there for a good five to ten minutes just eyeballing all the workers because no one had came up to me yet. I didn’t know what was going on. So this is all what I’m just assuming. 1. They’re understaffed. 2. They were really backed up on orders. Seemed like they were only taking drive-thru and mobile orders. 3. If you’re ordering in person at the register… well you just didn’t exist. 4. Expect not to get talked to. 5. Expect to wait at least 5 to ten minutes to either be acknowledged and maybe 15-20 minutes for your food to come out and most likely served cold. At one point, one of the gentleman sitting at the booths decided to come up to the counter and was just standing there beside me for over 5 minutes also not getting acknowledged. There was one moment maybe after the 10 minute marker that I had been standing up there where the lady working the drive-thru line asked the other lady if she had taken my order yet and she said no and just pointed to the screen. I would’ve thought maybe then she would’ve said something to me but no. There was one point when this random lady came up out of nowhere behind the counter, she also didn’t look up or acknowledge that there was a line forming, she walked up behind the cookie display, grabbed the tong and placed three cookies in her hand and then just walked out of the restaurant. I’m assuming that she was a worker because she was dressed in black like the rest of the workers but heck, I don’t know. Could’ve been somebody random. She wasn’t wearing a name tag and she just walked out. I have no idea. Safe to say I had finally had enough and decided to leave. On my way out, the wife of the gentleman that was standing next to me saw that I was leaving and decided to talk to me. She said they had been waiting for their food for 20 mins. I said I didn’t want to wait any longer and that this wait was ridiculous and I was gonna give my business to somewhere that actually knows how to serve people.
Long story short, I have no idea how this place has above a 3 star rating on google reviews. It needs to have lower than a 1. On yelp, it’s 1.9 out of 5. That sounds more accurate but honestly I hope this place trains better people or just...
Read moreI usually get good service at Zaxby's, not sure what happened Wednesday night. My friend and I were waiting to place our order when a lady behind us told us it would be a 25 minute wait. I told her we were just getting grilled chicken salads so maybe we wouldn't have to wait too long, but if we did it would be ok. When we finally placed our order I ask about the wait and the cashier said we would not have to wait long for the salads. I told her thanks. My friend requested extra blue cheese dressing for both salads. The cashier repeated, extra blue cheese for both salads and he said yes please. When my friend went to pay, his card was declined. She ran it a second time and it was declined. I ask her to just put it on my card. It was declined. Tried again and it was declined. My friend and i have the same kind of credit card and use them for everything for the hotel points and knew for a fact that both our cards were in good standing so we ask to speak to a manager. We ask if she could run his card on the other card reader. The manager just comped our meals for whiched we both thanked her. When we finally got our salads, and we did have to wait until the cooked orders ahead of us were prepared, we sat down and noticed we had two blue cheese and two ranch dressings. I took the ranch back to the counter and requested 2 blue cheese. After waiting around 5 minutes she gave them to me and apologized. I told her no problem. While we were eating I needed more ice and when I went to get it, the ice machine would not give me any. I told the cashier and she said it needed to be broken up. After waiting on 5 more customers she broke up the ice. When we finished eating I went to dump the trash from our tray and the double trash receptacle had no trash cans in it. After long waiting times 3 vehicles in front of me drove off without ordering. I drove to order and no acknowledge of my presence. After a couple on minutes, I said hello and no acknowledge. I drove off and went to Chick-Fil-A, quick service, and as I was driving home past Zaxby's which had several cars inline to order but no car at pickup window. Service is non-existent at this location and I can't explain how it is stays open. Per my previous complaint, Zaxby sent a web site to file a official complaint but need ticket number on receipt.
