My boyfriend and I love this eating at this place. It is by far our favorite restaurant in Landrum. We tell everyone about it and try to eat here at least every two weeks. Starting in the pandemic, we began ordering our food as take-out and eating it at home. There are certain dishes on the menu that have extra sauce. By the time you get it home, the plastic bag is three inches deep in fluid contents which means there is nothing left in the entree. We have asked previously that instead of the food coming in the styrofoam box, that they put it in the plastic cup with a lid instead so it doesn’t spill everywhere. Tonight we forgot to ask and per usual most of the contents had spilled out of the box and into the bag.. and a little bit into the floor at of my car.

We are huge believers in making a company aware of an issue and giving them an opportunity to make it right before leaving a bad review so I decided to call and let them know that this happened. They verbatim response by the woman on the phone, “it’s way too expressive to put the food in the plastic container so that’s why we put it in the styrofoam.” I said well I just wanted to make you guys aware that the food was spilling everywhere and that it kind of just sucks to pay for food that you don’t even get to eat half of. She then said, “we are already aware.” I just laughed and hung up.

The food situation is disappointing, but the response and customer service of a restaurant that you love so much is way worse. Knowing a product is coming out bad and genuinely not caring/providing customers a way to pay an extra ten cents for a lousy plastic cup is insane. We will have a hard time eating here again...

My wife and I just finished our food from Soulisa's and I have to say we were underwhelmed. We ordered the chicken teriyaki, beef pad thai, pot stickers, and egg roll. I have to qualify this review by disclosing that we are from the northern states, so our standards may be higher than those here in the south regarding ethnic food. Anyway, here goes. I have to admit that the pad thai wasn't awful. It was on the dry side and could have been seasoned better. The not so fresh bean sprouts and shredded carrot topping were mushy and lacked the fresh crunch of a proper pad thai. The egg rolls share major qualities with other sub par egg rolls I have had in the past, little crunch that leaves a month full of tasteless cabbage. The pot stickers were decent, but too much relied on the dipping sauce to save the day. Now for the piece de resistance. The chicken teriyaki. Where do I start with the chicken teriyaki? The vegetables were bland at best and had recently been liberated from a cryogenic sleep inside their deep freeze. Then there were the carrots that seemed to go from bag to boiling water straight to my take out box. They were so mushy, I fed them to my 9 month old. In closing, maybe we expected too much, but food is supposed to be fresh and taste good regardless of anywhere you're from. Sadly, we won't be back and I won't be recommending Soulisa's. I gave one star...

I was terribly disappointed in the service. My boyfriend and I went to dine in and were seated around 7:24 we waited about 15 minutes before our waiter was able to get to out table. The wait time was understandable giving the volume when the server came to our table we gave our drink orders. We also ordered seaweed salad and egg rolls for a appetizer and placed a order for 3 sushi rolls. We waited about 20 minutes for appetizers and after they were finished the server informed us that it would be 20 minutes on our sushi. We waited 40 minutes 3 other 2 tops that were seated after us and a 8 top behind all received their food and we were still waiting. I personally feel the waiter forgot to put our order in but I am not sure. We need to pick my daughter up from work at 9 from a restaurant in Tryon so we finally asked for the bill for our appetizers. We left the restaurant 10 minutes till 9. I can’t speak on how the sushi was because we never received it the seaweed salad and egg rolls were good but my boyfriend or I were not prepared to wait almost 2 hours to eat dinner. We picked up my daughter and ended up going to Taco Bell drive thru to get dinner since it was so late and no other options were open besides drive thru. The server did say sorry as we...

Love Thai restaurants and try to find one in every city we spend any amount of time in. This is not a classic Thai restaurant. It's a little more like a sports pub and bar that serves a version of Thai food, sushi (that we didn't try and may be better than the Thai food). The greeting and server were great. The ginger veggies were overcooked with an average to below taste. The tin ceiling while nice to look at makes for poor acoustics so the place is loud, not our usual quiet Thai for great food and good conversation. The place was very busy, has excellent reviews, and if you're not expecting something different like we were might be fabulous with its choice of protein, create your own dishes, Japanese options including teriyaki and grill. The bar is very well stocked and there's an extensive drink menu. Clearly this works for lots of people it just wasn't what we were hoping for. I did have one of the best Amber Ales when I decided to go with the vibe. Just set your expectations.

This place was AMAZING. personally, i am a huge asian food gal and when i heard of this place, i had to come. after looking at their big menu, i had to come to a big decision between 2 dinner items. japense entrees which includes one meat, 2 veggies, and rice or noodles, or tom kha soup. i decided to go with what i knew i liked, and got the japanese entree. it doesn’t look very appetizing, but when i tell you it was the best noodle dish i have ever had i’m not joking. next time i go, im getting the japanese dish AND the tom kha soup!!! comee!!!! and it’s affordable.

Went to lunch yesterday and it was very welcoming, the highlight of the meal besides the fresh food was our server, he was amazing and hilarious!!! I was a little intimidated by the spice levels, its a 1-10 tier and then Thai Hot....i should of gone with the Thai Hot i love spicy i only ordered a level 7. The freshness of the food, the delicious and decadent sushi rolls, and the service will have me coming back. Highly recommed!!!
