This would have been my second time trying Frank’s and I was excited to try again. After waiting one hour and forty minutes, I called the restaurant to find they missed my order. The person answering gave the phone to—who I assume to be—the manager.
After flip-flopping his story about 3 times and blaming Slice, I asked for a discount on the order since it had been so long and still hadn’t been started. The man told me to call Slice and cancel. Slice is the only way you can order delivery. I tried ordering through the restaurant site and was redirected to Slice.
I had originally called for an update, then still wanted to keep the order but with a discount to offset the time it took for the order, but I was instead disrespected, lied to, and told to cancel. This tells me Frank’s does not value its customer base and doesn’t care to establish regulars within the community.
Not only will I not return as a customer, I will be sure to tell others of the terrible customer service I received from...
Read moreI know some locals who love this place. One of my stars is out of respect for those people. If you're not a local, there are much better choices very close by. It's not particularly clean and there's a weird smell by the drink refrigerator on the left. The cheesesteak I ordered was just okay. The fries were good. The staff seemed very nice, but I have a feeling that the food was better and the dining room was cleaner at another time in it's history. The smell when you first walk in should be good food and the tables should be clean even when the place is empty, and this just wasn't the case. I've been there 3 times in the past 5 years hoping it will live up to the locals hype, but it just falls way short every time. I probably will not be back. I think that they are living on a reputation that just isn't accurate anymore. I hope it...
Read moreToday we ordered 2 pizzas online to be picked up at 1:00 p.m. to be paid by cash. My mother went to the restaurant at 1:10, they looked for the order, and found they had not made them. My 70 year old mother waited 30 minutes for the order. When it was finally done, she went to give a woman payment, and the woman told her "don't worry about it." My mother figured it was because they had her wait so long and appreciated the gesture since she orders often. When my mother arrived home hours later, she had a phone message from Frank's Pizza that she didn't pay for her order, they said that they thought she paid online despite the fact that I noted that cash would be paid at pick up. My mother paid over the phone, called me to tell me about it, and I told her that we will find a new...
