Burger King — Restaurant in Lansing

I’ve had two terrible experiences the past two times I visited this location. I try to give places a second chance but I won’t be back again.

Back during Halloween I placed an order for pick up after trick or treating with my children. They asked us to pull around and we proceeded to wait over an hour for our food. I asked workers three times what was going on with our food. The drive thru line was long and the doors to the building were locked so I couldn’t easy pull around or go in to check. I had to wait until a work came out and ask. I was placated falsely that they would check on my food but they wouldn’t return to tell me what was happening. Finally I had to stand outside the door to wait for my food. When they gave it to me half of our food was missing and so were our drinks.

Tonight I went back, hoping it was a mishap due to such a busy night. I placed another pick up order. When I arrived there were only two cars in front of me. I waited for a pick up order for THRITY MINUTES. I pulled up to the window and the employee was screaming while she was talking on the phone and at her co-worker. I'm writing this review while in drive threw line and there was 5 cars in front of me going on 35 minutes of wait time and still one car in front of me. The only reason I'm waiting is my wife sent me with a coupon for a family bundle.This seems to be a normal thing now since Covid.Just like McDonald's we won't be coming here any more until they get there service together.So sad to see a once great burger chain going down hill like all other big chain restaurants.Its like corporations know they can get away with it and don't really care about reputation but only profits.I had to edit and add this to the review after eating the cold food.The Whoppers no longer taste the same from the meat to the cheaper mayo being used. The french fries are cooked in a new oil that's probably cheaper that leaves a poisony after taste. My kids brought up the taste and I was already thinking it.The food just don't taste good anymore.We will no longer eat Burger King and even with a really good coupon.Had to edit again.2 hours after eating food my wife and I both got upset...

On 6.7.23 I stopped in to grab lunch for my husband. When I started my order I told them I had a coupon for 2 lg whopper meals for $12.99. I was asked for the code and I told them I was not certain where it was. I proceeded with my order and was told to go to the second window. I was never told my total. I handed the cashier my credit card and coupon and asked for a receipt (it’s a business write off). Upon looking at my receipt I was charged the full price of $22.66 for both meals. When I asked why the coupon was not applied, I was told because I had not given the code before the order was rung up. I asked them to please fix it. The manager came to the window with an extreme attitude and slammed the window closed in my face while I was speaking. Amarian (sp??) finished the transaction and was very pleasant.

Overall, I will not go back. The manger was beyond rude for no reason, and the fries were not cooked all the way.
