I've had issues in the past, but none like what I'm about to share. Late last night, I ordered a $32 dark-meat 12-piece meal with sides of coleslaw, mash potatoes, and baked beans. 1.5 to 2 hours later, I arrived home and discovered two orders of mash potatoes and one order of baked beans. Later, we discovered the breast. I decided to accept the order, due to time and distance. This morning, the paper bag that the potatoes and beans came in, was still on my dining table. I noticed the packs of butter were still intact, no one used it for their biscuits. As I removed the packs, I notice small bones at the bottom of the bag. They appeared to be wing bones. My order consisted of drums, thighs, and a breast (white-meat); no wings. Immediately, I called and spoke with Roxanne (Manager). I explained to her what happened. She told me that it's impossible that the bones were placed in the bag from KFC. She said someone in my home must have placed them there. I reminded her of my order. Then, she offered that I bring the remainder of my order (breast and biscuit) and she will replace what's left. I explained to her that I didn't want anything from her store based on what's the bones someone else had eaten from and placed in my bag; the issue is health and safety. She repeated her offered and I offered to explain my point, once again. She said she didn't need further explanation. I confirmed her name, position, and 800 number for customer relations and ended the call. I called customer relations and spoke with Earleen, who listened, understood, and is going to forward my case to the department which investigates these situations. I'm expecting a call-back. The point is, we consumed most of the meal and hope that clean food is all we've consumed. I and my family will never eat from this location again. I have been a customer of this KFC for, at least 15 years; they're coupled with Long John Silvers. This is the only LJS within city limits, that I'm aware of. I understand that people try to get over on businesses and make false claims, but don't tell me something's impossible when I'm staring at the gross act of 3220 MLK Lansing, MI 48910 employees as I speak. I would recommend any other clean location one is aware of and not shopping this location. I believe the is a KFC in Holt, MI on Cedar St. There is another one on westbound Saginaw Hwy near Elizabeth. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went there twice. The second time was an accident as the GPS took us to this one instead and we were still very new to the area. Both times they completely messed our order up. The manager was called both times and even they messed up the order. We not only ordered something very simple, but we also wrote it down on our phone's notepad for them to read (it was in print format and big letters). The manager told us to take our phone away as they couldn't read it. How are you a manager if you can't read? Our order was for 12 pieces of chicken, all extra crispy, half legs and half thighs (so just 6 extra crispy legs and 6 extra crispy thighs. Easy right?). The gave us 3 legs, 3 thighs, 3 wings, and 3 breasts all original. We brought it back and they still messed it up. We ended up eating what we got. Same thing happened the second time, but we ended up getting half grilled and half extra crispy, just legs and thighs. They gave us 10 original pieces, some were breasts, and then 2 grilled and burnt wings. They were the most horrible KFC we ever went to. The one at West Saginaw is much better and they don't need us to repeat at all. Only once they messed up our order slightly and were very apologetic and gave us free chicken. If i could rate lower i would. This kfc on south lansing on mlk and holmes STOLE ten dollars from me. I went to drive thru, gave them over 20 dollars for an 11 dollar meal and didnt realize i didnt get my ten back. I go back to get it and the managers said the dumb-as-rocks chasier ladys register isnt over any money so they cant return my money. Plus no camera's to overlook to see the cashier and register stations to see any kind of transaction in the store. This place should have an iq test to see if they even have employees and managers with brains past kindergarten who learned to not STEAL. I am highly disappointed by the customer service i was given, how i was ROBBED by a company, and told theres nothing they could do about it now. THIEVES and MORONS here only!!! I will never ever eat at any kfc ever again since the company had disrespected me to the extreme. I hope that everyone would get treated better than and not get ROBBED like i did for the sake of the business and any decent folk who hate THIEVES...
