Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Lansing

My experiences takes place throughout this year (2021 ). Normally, to celebrate any special occasion my husband would purchase ice cream cakes from Cold Stone creamery. However, we have been so dissatisfied with the customer service and the lack of fresh ingredients from Cold Stone creamery that he decided to purchase an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. This is Major because I am a huge ice cream cake fan and I take my ice cream cake seriously. Therefore, on Valentine's Day he did not tell me he ordered an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen he just presented it to me and I assumed it was from Cold Stone creamery. After we ate the cake I told him that was the best ice cream cake I've had in quite a while. He grinned sheepishly and told me he purchased it from our local Dairy Queen. I did not believe him and laughed it off. On our next special occasion he went to Dairy Queen ordered an ice cream cake and once again I was impressed. This time he kept the receipt to prove to me he ordered this ice cream cake from our local Dairy Queen. Over the course of this year, whenever we had a special occasion we ordered our ice cream cakes through Dairy Queen. If you look at the pictures they are from different times throughout the year and the quality remains consistent. We are so impressed with the way this Dairy Queen makes our ice cream cakes. We plan to utilize their services for the foreseeable future. If anything changes I will come back to update this review. However, the customer service is always friendly, my cakes are always made correctly and the prices are so much more reasonable than most ice cream chains. It's been a while since we ordered any ice cream cakes from this location. My husband recently ordered one for my birthday and I had to take it back because it just did not taste fresh. I believe in honesty therefore, I had to update my review. I'm not sure if there's a new person making...

The bathroom was disgusting when I walked in. Toilet not flushed, toilet paper hanging off the seat, and all over the floor. Then it took a half hour for 2 blizzards! The blizzards were half melted and were not served upside down. We were never offered a free one like their policy says. The employee Hope O. who took our order looked like she hated her job and hated people. She was so rude! My husband ordered an item they had a picture display of, she says they dont make that anymore. He said "you should take the sign down then"..She rolls her eyes at him! Then when she gave us a number, she tossed it rudly on the counter. Unbelievable. I honestly cant believe she works in the customer service industry! I've already called customer service and did the survey on the receipt. This is my feedback. Get some help, or some...

So let's start by saying I pull up order 1 item. ONE! They somehow got that wrong and brought two items and overcharged me. As soon as I pull up these two teens who were clearly either high as a kite or just should never work the window ever started asking my son who just got off work about the food he was eating. And then if it was good and staring at him. Then they finally start to situate my order and then bring me a blizzard that's in 3 cups stacked for some reason , half dripping down the side of the cups and not blended properly and for some reason my cake blizzard was neon yellow and I promptly said I didn't want that it looked wrong and asked for a refund. Which they gave to me in 3 different parts. Never again ever...
