Leo's Coney Island — Restaurant in Lapeer

I am a consistent customer at leo's. I placed to carry out order with Erika. Upon arriving, Erika was extremely rude from the get go. She must just hate her life as she had such a Terrible attitude and her communication with me was extremely rude and cold. I presented a coupon to her for my carry out which she looked over with a fine-tooth-comb. And then told me that she couldn't take my coupon because it said it was for the Birch Run location. I have never been questioned about that before. I probably spend approximately between $300 and $400 dollars a year Thru the surrounding Leo's as well as lapeer. I normally use those coupons to tip the carry out waitress. I paid my bill did not leave a tip, and so she proceeded to the kitchen where she spoke of me. Derogatorily, as the cook in the kitchen looked up at me and laughed, as well as another waitress that walked out gave a dirty smirk to me. Upon waiting at least fifteen minutes or more.After arriving, my order was still not ready. When erika decided to come back to the Register, she told me my order would be ready soon. At this point I requested my money back and told her that I would not only come back to this restaurant but I didn't care to have my order spit in... Very disappointed in the staff at this location would not trust them to not spit in someone's food........

My grandmother, daughter and I stopped in on our way through Lapeer. As my daughter and I were coming from the bathroom Our waitress was spilling coffee all over that my grandmother had orderd, nearly on my 3 yr old daughter as she was getting in the booth. My daughter ordered Macaroni & cheese and it was absolutely awful!!! A big bowl of yellow soggy noodles with no flavor. I told our waitress I wasn’t thrilled with it and she looked at me in disgust and took it away. I then orderd scrambled eggs and sausage for my daughter thinking you couldn’t go wrong with that. There was so much grease on the eggs and the sausage was as hard as a rock. I expressed my dissapointment ONCE AGAIN and our waitress had it removed from the bill as she should have. Overall our experience with the food was ridiculous!!!!! My grandmas fish was greasy and her fries were cold. I had a gyro that was cold and dry. I have been in the restaurant industry a long time and I would have been embarrassed to serve the food that we were served. On a positive note the guy in the front making balloons was a real sweetheart and my daughter enjoyed her...

June 2011. Had a ribeye steak, ordered medium. This thing was certainly not cooked medium (well-well done), dry, tough, and some funky gray color that didn't resemble meat at all. the sad, wilted mush that was supposed to be onions and mushrooms looked like diarrhea with worms in it, probably out of a can and microwaved and then dumped on the steak. Vile and disgusting. No, I didn't send it back, you know what that causes. Coleslaw was room temperature (hello, health department?!), fries were soggy mush, the "home made" pie was sticky gluey gunk that was premade and must have been nuked prior to serving because the middle was still partially FROZEN!! Godawful, horrible, inedible food. No amount of helpfulness or friendliness from the wait staff could possibly make up for how rotten bad the food...
