I transfered to this store from Kroger in Lapeer thinking this store would be more reliable. One thing I could always count on from Kroger was when they didn't have my medication, they ordered it when they said they would. I called to get a status on my script on Friday of last week, they said it wasn't in stock, and they'd order it. When the order arrived the person who ordered it put in the wrong brand name so therefore my insurance couldn't cover it and I couldn't get my medication. Do you not realize that some people desperately need their medication or else they run the risk of either getting sick or worse if their condition calls for daily medication. They had me waiting four days for my medication and now I have to wait more time, probably the rest of the week, until they retrieve my correct order of my medication. They had to reorder it once learning they ordered the wrong medicine brand. They also trash talked my doctor. They said my doctor wrote the prescription incorrectly but that is false, I called my doctors office and checked. The prescription was written as it always has been written. I've been seeing this doctor for upwards of three years, she never steers me wrong so I knew it wasn't her fault. They screwed up and instead of apologizing and taking some responsibility for their mistake, they shifted the blame to my doctor and as I said, I confirmed it was false. My doctor wrote my script correctly. Wallgreens screwed up. I have had more issues with this pharmacy in the two months I've been going there than I ever did at Kroger the six years I'd been going there... Not to mention trying to reach customer service is a joke. They answer if you're lucky and then can never answer your questions themselves, they directed me several times to another line, the "dispensing department", and I waited on hold for 32 full minutes. No one answered. I did this two days in a row and got nothing. This business is garbage and I would recommend going literally anywhere else. Wallgreens is unreliable, inconsistent, and vacant of any compassion for their patients. People can't be on a medication for years and suddenly be taken off of it, they told me they only order medicine that's out of stock when the electronic prescription comes in. So if you need your medicine today, they won't order it until today. They should be ordering it in advance so you don't have to go without it, but they don't. That makes no sense for people who are on life saving medications. Wallgreens is going to kill people and probably already has. Once I get my order in a few days I won't be returning. And if they didn't order my prescription like they said they did there will be hell to pay because you're meddling with...
Read moreI just want to say that I've been shopping at walgreens for over 10 years if not more. I've seen so many changes and people within the company. Some days are harder than others but that is also in everyday life. I've been in the store and I've seen them at their worst but I've also seen them at their best. For me I've always have had a great experience. Right now walgreens is going through a big change since rite aid has closed and we inquired their scripts and we now and understand that it's a struggle with long wait times and long lines inside and through drive thru, but please remember it's not just us that is struggling as a customer with the changes it's also the employees that are in pharmacy that are struggling too. They are trying their hardest to get you what you need but when they have us as customers yelling at them then it makes it harder. What I'm about to say and yes we've all heard it many times but ever since covid no one has patience and we need to get back to respecting not just ourselves but each other to get through the day, week, month, year, etc., but also remember this if you want to be treated with respect then you have to treat others with respect. Ask yourself this would you want someone to come into where you work and disrespect you and then leave a nasty review. It's sad to see everyone so mad and we don't have to be. So before you go and get mad at something or someone for something that they might not have any control over, think to yourself and ask do I want someone yelling at me. I as a customer have had great experience in photo, shopping, and...
Read moreWent to pick up my prescription that said it was done, when I got there the very disrespectful lady at the drive through stated that it was not done and would be 2 hours due to being short staffed. Since it’s just a tube of ointment I asked if someone could go grab it real quick because I live a half hour away and I was willing to wait as long as it wasn’t 2 hours. She replied “do you want just any tube of ointment or the one on your prescription” feeling the utmost disrespect I drove off and did not receive the ointment. Every time I've been there their excuse has always been their short staffed, even when there are 6 people behind the counter. I tried again and again to give them a chance. I will be switching to a locally owned pharmacy. I refuse to be disrespected just because someone doesn’t want to...
