Learn moreIf you don't mind black hair in your food, it's probably fine. Ownership must have changed here. It used to be the only decent Chinese food around Lapeer but now it's awful. Husband picked up carry out between two work shifts for us to have quick Valentine's Day dinner. He got Almond Chicken, I got Mongolian Beef. We've never tasted chicken like that before ; you could feel your feel teeth puncture through the outer skin (think grape or tomato). It was disgusting and the entire meal went straight to the dog (minus one sample bite from each of us). The Mongolian beef used to have green onions and onion slices, and I believe water chestnuts. Now it has corn, carrots, water chestnuts, onions and a side of hair. Yup, a 3 inch black HAIR that was burried in the food and wasn't discovered until about 5 bites in when I decided to dig out all of the water chestnuts. We were so disgusted! And I agree with another review here - the egg drop soup has zero flavor and the consistency of snot. What a horrible experience; two dinners completely wasted and we end up eating a slice from our daughter's Jet's Pizza for Valentine's Day dinner instead. We will obviously never go back again and would warn others...
Read moreI am disgusted. I started with the barbecue pork, it was salty and dry and I’m sure by the way that it tasted it is old. Definitely not what I am used to when it comes to BBQ pork from a Chinese restaurant. The second thing I tried was a crab rangoon and this is the only thing that I would ever purchase again from this restaurant. Then I tried the house special fried rice. I’m pretty sure the pork in this is the same barbecue pork that I didn’t like to begin with. I’m grossed out about these pieces of chicken skin masquerading as chicken. I was disgusted when I bit into it and discovered that it is actually the chicken skin (See photos). And next everyone’s favorite, eggrolls. Inside of the eggroll is grayish in color, not fresh veggies. As you can see in the pictures, they are so greasy I feel like they were just sat in a pan of grease under a hot lamp. I spent $30 even and could only stomach the 4...
Read moreWhen you open your little take out box excitedly, then you see it and become instantly disappointed...Order of chicken fried rice was just steamed rice, steamed chicken with peas and carrots. No egg, no seasoning, no green onions, no soy sauce- I could have made instant rice in my microwave and dumped a can of peas and carrots in for the same effect. Don’t bother calling to say you’re disappointed, they legit said too bad, that’s how we make our “fried rice”. Dishonest, false advertisement, rude, gross food. I’d rather support my local businesses that care about their customers and care about the quality of...
