This Dairy Queen is the worst fast food experience I’ve had in my entire life. I entered the inside of the Dairy Queen assuming that it would be faster then waiting in line for the drive-thru. It took about 20 minutes to put my order in but that was normal. But then waited 10 minutes for my blizzard which was fine. But then as I proceeded to wait for my food, it took the staff of 4 servers in the front an hour to get me my food as I watched my food be shoved to the side out of the range of the heat lamp and just become cold, moist, and gross. I watched food be dropped on the ground and placed in the bags and still served to people. After an hour I decided to ask for my food because I could visually see it on the counter. The server snapped at me and told me to wait and they were trying. They weren’t trying very hard because they were not following their own system and were serving people out of order and even just shoving order that were first to the back of the line, allowing the food to get cold. I will never be eating Dairy Queen’s food the rest of my life and I hope if you consider Dairy Queen as a dinner or lunch option to go Freddie’s or any where else in Laramie. Also by the end of it I was left with a cup full of blizzard soup. Definitely couldn’t be flipped over anymore.
Here we go again! I gave my trust back to this Dairy Queen, and boy was it a mistake. I brought in a photo of my receipt and the validation code for my free mini blizzard after rating the Dairy Queen. I assumed the code you’re forced to right down would be good enough to cross reference in the system to ensure it was valid and unused. But I was denied my free blizzard for not having the physical receipt. Which made no sense to me and I asked the helper and she said she didn’t know why it wouldn’t work and then the manager told me it was company policy but would not expand for me. It is embarrassing when you can’t even educate the managers of your own restaurant of what your own stupid policies are. If you are going to be in the present, you need to create a system with your validation codes, to track or even enter into the app to redeem your free blizzard, instead of forcing customers to bring in a paper receipt and no reasoning why but “because I said so” if I could give this Dairy Queen 0...
Read moreI and some friends were visiting Wyoming. After going to Mirror Lake, we stopped to use the bathroom and get some ice cream. I ordered a small cheese curd and a heath blizzard. I went to the bathroom, came out, and sat down. I got up to see about my order, and my cheese curds were sitting in the window along with my friends. We informed the young man working the register that that was my cheese curds. A lady working in the back told him to put my stuff in a bag. He did it and then handed it to me. I had to ask for sauce. As I'm waiting for my blizzard, I see two blizzards in the window. It wasn't busy, as there was only another person waiting. A lady who I assumed was the manager who came out from the back and asked me what I was waiting for? I told her my health blizzard. The guy making the ice cream told her which one was mine and she gave it to me. I went to sit down, and I saw they gave me the wrong one. I went back to let the guy working the counter know. He wasn't very talkative and didn't really say anything to me. he just looked at me. I waited for a few minutes, and my blizzard came out. I got the right one, so I went to sit down. As me and my friends are sitting down eating, we hear two people arguing in the back. One lady is telling another lady that she's not her boss, and the other lady is saying that she is. The first lady is telling her that she's going to call Jeff. The second lady tells the first lady to go ahead and do it, and she can also go home. I can hear the first lady talking to Jeff, and a few minutes later, we see her get in her car and leave. Who runs this place?! Super unprofessional environment. As a supervisor myself, you NEVER have any type of altercations with an employee where customers can hear, nor should an employee ever speak to a manager that way, especially where customers can hear. Secondly, the young man working the register seemed as if he had some issues with getting the food out, and he had issues communicating with customers and his co-workers. All in all, that was the only issue that I had. My cheese curds were fine, and so was my blizzard. I'm glad that I don't live in Wyoming and have this be the only place to...
Read moreI love dairy Queen blizzards, but I have to say that the drive-thru at the dairy Queen is the slowest I have ever been through. It can easily take a half an hour to get your order, even with just three or four cars in front of you. Mind-blowingly slow. I echo some of the reviews here where I've actually seen people just lounging around inside, the employees, with an empty dining room. I have no idea why it takes so long just to get people their blizzards and sundays. This is been a repeated problem over the past few months that I've been coming there. And it is almost enough to keep me from going back. I love my damn blizzards though. It's really disheartening, too be in line, I was just last night actually with four cars in front of me, and it had to take 45 minutes to get through. I took note of what the other people had. I could only see the two in front of me and I know that they had two blizzards in one car, and the other car had a Sunday a cone and two blizzards. I have no idea why it takes so long to provide ice cream to People. rarely complain or even leave a somewhat negative review. I am saddened everytime i got to this Dairy Queen. Last week my order was a simple three blizzards, all the same. Oreo blizzards. Each one was different. They all had different amounts of Oreo mix in them, some were Fuller than others. I just don't get it. Pretty soon I'm going to have to weigh how much I want that blizzard and how much I want to keep my sanity from sitting and waiting in the line watching such ineptitude. I'm not sure what management can do to address this but I wish they would do something with their drive-thru speed at the very least. And their...
