Danny's Restaurant — Restaurant in Laredo

EXTREMELY disappointed with party reservation!!! We were only able to arrive 15-20min before to set up. We arrived at such time and 6 employees standing around with room dirty, chips in the floor, horrible sticky floors. When we asked if they could plz clean up while we rushed to set up they seemed bothered and excused themselves with oh well we had another party!!! Excuse me but it’s not my fault u overbooked and don’t plan your parties accordingly! Our business was not free of charge. We payed and reserved with time. My guest arrived as I was setting up and they were cleaning. My own aunt picked up a mop they had leaning on a wall. Not once did they excuse themselves for overbooking Or apologize for inconvenience the manager just stood around. We picked up after ourselves in a rush to leave for the next party because they arrived while our party was still going. AND WE LEFT ON TIME AS SCHEDULED.

I would not recommend this location for parties by any...

Ordered chicken fried steak and waitress came and had me point out on menu what it was she did not understand me I guess. When it came it was not what I pointed at and told her I wanted which was chicken fried steak. She took it and when it came a second time and it was so hard not even with a the knife I was given could I cut through it. I showed waitress and she brought a manager and he said what I ordered was a fried steak dish and that’s what I ordered. I said it was fine and would not let them take it back again. Just wanted to leave. And we were brought bill and the plate I didn’t even eat was on ticket. So I took photo in front of waitress and it was then manager took it off ticket . Came to Danny's based on star review status but turns out to be very deceiving. On my 1st trip, my family and I dined in. The atmosphere is basic Mexican style which is expected. Service was very very slow. And the food is mediocre at best. Fairly tasteless with over heated tortillas.

I tried Danny's again the following day for breakfast tacos and came through the drive thru this time around.

Again my family and I were very disappointed in the quality of food and slow service. We will avoid Danny's in the future.

Note I am from San Antonio were there are many Mexican restaurants available, so Danny's doesn't compare to a quality Mexican restaurant at this time.

Maybe this is the best Mexican restraunt for it's neighborhood and could explain the rating but if you...
