F&F Japanese Grill — Restaurant in Laredo

When I first saw the place I was expecting more of a Japanese setting for when I walked in but instead felt like a knock off Japanese version of Panda Express. Next when I think Japanese food I kind of look for sushi and sashimi on the menu but saw none. Next when I saw Hibachi I kinda expected a teppanyaki-style dining experience but felt more like fast food. The chicken, shrimp and veggies had good flavor but the noodles were bland. The place Looks nice. They have the walls covered with Japanese manga illustrations and rhe wooden tables and chairs give a nice contrast. The food though, is an entirely different story. We ordered two bibimbap bowls. The meat was well seasoned but you could taste the freezer burn on the pork. The egg was over done, and the rice was not seasoned at all. I know it's white rice, but you still need to season it accordingly. Needless to say, another mediocre place in our little big city. We might not comeback. Not really...

the food was good but the personnel doesnt understand any english. they greet you in spanish and keep talking in spanish despite answering them in english. first timer. asked what flying chicken was and they responded with "awesome sauce" or "super sauce". no idea. got 4 plates and the pot stickers, and they forgot the pot stickers noticed till i got home. made us park and took like 30 minutes to get our order. take someone that speaks spanish that can transilate or stay away from drive thru or double...
