Mai Matcha Cafe — Restaurant in Laredo

Every time I’m on a work trip, I make it a point to try local matcha joints and although Laredo has a few, this is hands down the best one. From the cute wall art outside to the cool aesthetic inside, the vibes are immaculate. The workers are also friendly and the matchas are made to order rather than batch made, which truly makes a difference. I barely tried it out today after a coworker talked to me about it since they heard it from someone else. I didn’t even know we had this in Laredo! But since I love matcha I wanted to check it out ASAP! And oh my goodness!! This made me feel so happy with the first sip and bite! Nice place, surely will be crowded the first days after their opening since it is the only place dedicated to the matcha lovers like me! Just be patient with the wait time. I ordered the Matcha Frappe, it tastes good, like the one I randomly prepare at home. I have to admit I was expecting to taste different. Either way I will try later the other matcha combinations they offer. Also if you love concha bread, they are good 👍...
