I ordered to go dinner for me and my family of 4. I ordered myself a tour of Italy plus 3 chicken Alfredo plates. When I sat down to eat the lasagna tasted disgusting I spit it out. I asked my wife to try it and also spit it out. It ruined my appetite. I called the store and asked for the manager on duty which was Christine at the time. I explained kindly to her about the lasagna and was hoping she would genuinely apologize for the inconvenience, offer to replace my plate , and we could all move on with our lives. When I let her know, she did not apologize, she responded with “ I just tasted it sir and the lasagna tasted fine.” In a monotone voice. Her response aggravated the situation because she was implying that we were lying. I was already inconvenienced with my dinner being ruined and if I accepted the new dish she would offer, i would have to make the drive to pick it up. She never apologized or offered to replace it til the very end. The entire convo was Christine arguing that the lasagna was fine. At this point I was very upset and in disbelief with the service, Christine spoke over me and said she had already offered me a plate and that i could speak to the general manager if I wanted to and literally hung up. I was not yelling, saying anything obscene, or being rude. We live close to this store and were excited about that ,but now will definitely be making the drive a bit further to the San Dario location to avoid dealing with an incompetent manager who does not know how to provide great service. We will also be letting our friends and family know about the incident so they won’t visit this new store with disgusting food and...
Read moreThe new restaurant is beautiful and the food was better compared to the older restaurant, but it seems the chefs and the waiters need to be trained better. I asked for the five cheese ziti with crispy chicken. and can somebody please tell me why they put the sauce on top of the crispy chicken?? so when i got the plate, I was confused at first and I started looking for the chicken and all the crispy chicken skin was literally scraping off of it because it was soggy with sauce. what is the point of getting crispy chicken if you’re just gonna put the sauce on top to make it soggy and no longer crispy I was so angered by this and I even told the waiter and he didn’t care. I asked him. Why did the kitchen do this and he said “I don’t know, ma’am.” He didn’t even apologize. He didn’t even offer to bring me a new piece of chicken, nothing and I only stayed quiet because we were treating a guest to dinner and I didn’t want to make a fuss. but I was extremely disappointed at the fact that the waiter completely disregarded my concerns and didn’t offer a resolution or anything, but he was much more concerned for everybody else’s dishes. and I’m pretty sure he remembers who I am, i was there last night. I guess the next time I go, I have to be specific on how they have to place the chicken and the sauce because apparently the chefs in the kitchen have no common sense on how to do that. -every other staff i encountered was...
Read moreThis is the newest OG in Laredo and all I can say is, Wow! What an improvement from what came before. We were lucky enough to be part of their staff training day and my hats off to the management and staff that were present. Even though there was a constant flow of customers and extra staff on hand, the atmosphere was calm and staff remained friendly and helpful. We couldn’t help but notice the updates to the decor of the walls which were updated from the previous location. This restaurant appears larger than the original. The food was the real highlight of the day. Perfectly seasoned and still hot when our plates arrived. The salad was fresh and each dish came out perfectly timed from our appetizer and salad to the main course. 5/5 will eat here again. Goodbye old OG this might be the new hot spot in laredo for...
