Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Laredo

I went here yesterday to get chicken sandwiches for my wife and myself. No other customers were there, shortly after normal lunch time, but I was told that it would be at least 20 minutes. I didn’t have time to wait, so I left and returned after errands a couple hours later.

I ordered the sandwiches at the drive through, and paid with cash. The clerk took my cash, shut the window, and didn’t offer my change (which wasn’t much, but also wasn’t his to keep). A couple minutes later, another guy opened the window to thrust my bag at me, and shut it while I tried asking for my change and some napkins. Screw it! So I drove home to eat with my wife.

Both our sandwiches, which from every other Popeyes has been succulent and delicious, were ridiculously overcooked. They were like breaded chicken jerky! I was hungry enough that I managed to choke mine down, but my wife literally couldn’t even bite through hers, and the dog even had a tough time with it. It was a complete waste of both time and money, and to top it off, I wasn’t given a receipt, so I couldn’t even call this place to identify the issues and get...

I honestly don't know what the fuss is on the chicken sandwich. Didn't like it at all. The sauce had a bad aftertaste which was disgusting. I was there two nights ago and saw that the drive-thru line was extremely long so decided to get down which was perfect since there was no line inside. I approached the counter and asked the young kid behind the counter if they had the chicken sandwich available. He responded by saying "Unfortunately we do have it available". Part of me thought that was rather funny so I didn't make anything out of it. I proceeded to ask for my order (to go), got it, and was on my way. As I was driving home, my daughter was checking the order for accuracy and saw that they messed up on my order and had to drive back which was a total...

I was at Popeyes drive thru a few minutes ago. There was a car in front of me and I’m back of me while more cars kept coming to place an order. The gentleman man in front of me like upset and I kept hearing him say hello hello but no answer. 5 minutes later he takes off so it’s my turn to place an order the guy working at the drive thru says “hold on” so I wait another 5 minutes. Then finally I place my order and he’s saying everything so confused like he has no clue what I’m talking about then he just tells me to pull up when I wasn’t even done with my order. So finally he gave me a total and told me to move up it would take 2 minutes so I did and after that it was ok service. But a saw a few cars leaving because the gentleman wasn’t answering...
