Texadelphia — Restaurant in Laredo

Texadelphia... I give this wonderful establish 5 stars! I've had the pleasure of having their sandwiches, but on this last occasion I had the house salad. At least I think that was what it was called. I just so happen to be on a specific meal plan and I figured I try this place out and I was not disappointed. As I was saying, the House Salad is delicious with it's crumbles of mozzarella cheese, black olives, lettuce (I may be missing some veggies), and some delicious spicy ranch to top it all off. Let's not forget the massive order of Chips and Guac and some sweet tea to wash it all down! Everything was great, from the service to the food. I came with my son to eat lunch and i saw a advertisement that says on Monday kids eat free in any adult meal , the lady was in a bad mood she charge me for the 2 meals , I came to eat without knowing that there was an advertisement that said children ate for free, I was going to pay anyway but why they have a false advertisement? Or at least the server should tell me that is not anymore valid , the food is good 3 out of 5 but if you can go to jimmy John’s that is next to is much better and...

This place is mid at best. Had the founders favorite for lunch today. Can’t believe the 6 inch combo was $17 (added cheese dip). Hadn’t had texadelphia in a couple years, so I was hoping maybe it had improved, but no. Food is bland and meat is tasteless. Made for people that never leave Laredo I guess, cause they don’t know what a cheesesteak is supposed to taste like. Right next door is Jimmy John’s, which is way better.
