Iâve gone to this restaurant with my family a couple times over the past months and despite being a wonderful culinary experience with their food, pastries, and drinks it was horrible service. We recently went yesterday May 30th at around 12:00 pm. The staffs overall demeanor was so bad. It felt like they dreaded serving us. Specifically the girl who brought our items to our table almost threw them to us and every single time left with an annoyed face, it even looked like she rolled her eyes at us as she left. Also, the staff refuses to mention anything unless interrogated. Staff should also mention important things about the menu to the customers. I canât read the pastries names as they arenât in English or Spanish so I had no idea what I chose was completely made of coconut, which I cannot eat. My mom also wasnât aware the salad didnât include protein, once I asked for additional chicken she gave us a chicken salad, like with the cream and stuff not what we expected. I understand that is how the food is here, no issue with that, but it wouldâve been appreciated to know about it. Lastly, they forgot about my matcha I had ordered and we were halfway through our food when I had to ask her about it. I thought sheâd just say oh that will be right out but instead the women making the drinks scoffed and laughed and said âyeah I knowâ then walked off. Then another women said âdonât worry itâll be out soon.â The food is incredible, but it isnât worth giving money to a business filled with rude and disrespectful staff. This wasnât the only bad experience we have had, but bad enough to write this review. If we go back weâll definitely talk to the management because they ruin the beautiful place that coffee...
Read moreUpon entry, there is a showcase of wonderful eye-catching pastries that fills you with excitement. I was greeted and tended to accordingly after patiently waiting in line. I ordered a latte with oat milk and no flavoring along with 2 chocolate cookies which included walnut and pistachio (1 and 1). I was not asked about what size and had forgotten to suggest a size after being distracted by the wonderful pastries. There was a bit of a wait so possibly expect that if and when you order. When I received my to-go order I asked if the cookies were warmed and my question was answered as the person walked away from me. I still wished her a good day from afar. Overall, the place is wonderful, the lamp shades could use a little dusting due to them being right on top of the pastries, and unfortunately my cup seemed to leak from the seam after attempting to seal my cup properly. Delicious coffee, and pastries. Would definitely come back and give...
Read moreThe place looks like a sweet little spot for a treat, but the service had me feeling more like I walked into a DMV than a cafe shop. I asked the girl up front what milk she recommended for the MazapĂĄn drink and her response was, âWell, thatâs up to you.â Maâam⊠if I knew what milk paired best with this drink, I wouldnât be asking. Anywhere else, Iâd expect at least a âpeople usually go with oat!â or âalmond really brings out the flavor!â The drink itself was pretty mid for how much I paid. Honestly, the whole experience was like getting excited for a slice of cake, only to find out itâs gluten-free, dairy-free, joy-free cardboard. Cute spot, but customer service could use a âscoopâ of enthusiasm and a swirl of guidance. Would I come back? Maybe, if I bring my own milk and Google recommendations...
