This place beats the big boys like Whataburger, Wendy's, Sonic, BK & Mickey Ds on flavor. Don't expect a giant burger, so if you're hungry order two.

(They lost half a star a year ago. Make sure you stress that they cook your hamburger meat thoroughly. A few slipped by the cook that were under-cooked.)

Good, tasty, home-style flavor! I recommend the hamburger with cheese and a Mexican coke or flavored drink. I recommend the one with mayonnaise for your burger if you don't care for mustard. The order comes with mild spiced peppers on the side.

FYI: They sell potato chips instead of french fries. I suggest you skip the chips and add another burger. Their prices are modest and you can call ahead for pick up orders. They also have a drive-thru window. Español

Este lugar supera a los grandes como Whataburger, Wendy's, Sonic, BK y Mickey Ds en sabor. No esperes una hamburguesa gigante, así que si tienes hambre pide dos.

¡Buen y sabroso sabor casero! Recomiendo la hamburguesa con queso y una coca cola mexicana o bebida saborizada. Te recomiendo el que lleva mayonesa para tu hamburguesa si no te gusta la mostaza. El pedido viene con pimientos ligeramente especiados al lado.

FYI: Venden chips de papa en lugar de papas fritas. Te sugiero que te saltes las papas fritas y añadas otra hamburguesa. Sus precios son modestos y puede llamar con anticipación para recoger pedidos. También tienen una ventanilla para...

Lonches El Popo is a local sandwich shop. But do not be confused by what you know as a sandwich like a sub. These specific type of sandwiches are a hybrid between a burger and a sandwich. In their menu only offer 4 different type of sandwiches shredded beef, cooked wiener dog, burger type and breaded steak. The sandwiches are served fresh and hot. The taste is unique and the food is flavorful. You will not be disappointed...

This small business came from Nuevo Laredo (across the border) with the same great taste it has served for years...anybody who remembers late night drinking and eating across,remembers this joint...the burgers are done fresh on order and they have Mexican cokes and lays chips...although lays chips are pretty much the only chips they serve,lol...but the hamburgers...
