When in there with my grandson to get us a dozen donuts to people in front of me a lady was returning a doughnut the girl behind the counter who seemed continuously frazzled ask for the return donut back and set it on the cannon when it was our turn My grandson ask for a Boston cream doughnuts she turned around from the donut selection on the wall grabbed the bag with the returned don't it in it and started to pull it out and put it in our Box for our dozen donuts. I immediately said No! I do not want that returned donut! She claimed she wasn't going to give it to us. I said yes you were. She then wiped her face a few time with her donut grabbing hand. I said to her and my grandson, we will go elsewhere. She was already angry with me, but she started to reach for another boston cream off the wall rack , with the hand she just wiped her face with. No thanks! GROSS! She continued to yell at me to come back , as i dragged my grandson out the door. The last few times I have gone to DDs I have been disappointed with quality and service. I will go to a mom and pop and pay more from now on. I can only imagine what goes on that we do not see. Just gross. Normally you would expect the donut that was returned be given to the person who got the wrong donut in addition to them getting the correct donut. I was surprised she asked that customer for that donut back. Figured maybe policy , but it would go in the trash, not given to another cutomer. The returned donut had been from the drive thru, I saw that customer go in just before me. Better training of...
Read moreLet me start by saying how wonderful this place is. I visited recently and seeing the drive through line was quite busy I decided to go inside. I donned my mask and entered the building. I noticed one table of customers inside and an employee (that appeared off the clock) sitting at the bar area. I stood at the register and waited my turn. My wait was much longer than I expected and the two employees that I saw working the drive through didnt acknowledge me at all, even after one of them walked right in front of me twice to get donuts. After listening to almost three songs on Dunkin radio, I finally saw another face appear from what looked like the food prep area. She looked at me, and asked if I had been helped. I told her no and that I hadn't even been acknowledged. She immediately apologized and came to the front counter. She politely took more order, apologizing multiple times throughout the process. She asked if I would like a donut to make up for the wait. I told her no and said dont worry about. She apologized again and discounted my purchase. She then told the person waiting behind me that she would be right with them, and began making my drinks. She finished the drinks, apologized again and went back to customer at the counter. This could have been a very bad visit, but the empathy shown by this one team member made up for it all. Definitely...
Read moreThis is the second order where I have ordered a large order for a group and only my Beyond Sausage sandwich was missing. I understand that this is a lesser ordered option and may even be in limited demand or stock..but PLEASE be courteous enough to contact delivery services that are driving your to go orders to let their orderer know that an item is not available. I spent $80 on food here today and was the only one who didn't get to have the sandwich I ordered for the second time in a row. I am vegan and so my options are limited and if my meal is not delivered I can not share food with someone else who's order was properly fulfilled. There are other items I can eat but they have to be specifically substituted. I know yall are busy but please take the time to be considerate of...
