My husband and I stopped by for lunch at 1:30 on a Friday after watching a movie. We both wanted Sushi but we're not familiar with the area and we didn't know what to expect when walking in here.
As soon as we walked in we were immediately beckoned to a booth and given menu's. We usually order waters at restaurants we go to, but our server didn't even ask, he brought us waters as soon as we picked up the menu. Then he told us he would give us a couple of minutes to take a look at the menu.
For our appetizer we ordered a "Roll Me This, Roll Me That" which is essentially two of each: spring roll, egg roll, and shrimp "rolls" (they're actually two extra large fried shrimp). My husband ordered a build your own sushi burrito and a taro boba, and I ordered the original sushi burrito roll with Thai tea, no boba.
I'm a Thai tea snob, and I usually shy away from ordering Thai tea at a boba place cause they usually disappoint with watered down plain teas. Well, this SPOT did not. The Thai tea was delicious. My husband also concurred his taro boba was satisfactory.
The appetizers came out in less than 7 minutes after ordering and were mouthwatering, served with really tasty peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce. Surprisingly filling, I was only able to eat half of my sushi burrito roll while my husband managed to scarf his all down.
The service was excellent, my water was always full, the server was very attentive and heartwarming.
The total price was $60 and some odd cents. I paid 25% tip cause my server and the staff deserve it.

Read moreI ordered via telephone my order at approximately 3:12 today. It was to be ready within 30 minutes. My home health care aide (who is African American) stood waiting for over 45 minutes for the food, never to be called. While I was still in my vehicle outside of the restaurant, I called to see how much longer we had to wait. The girl who answered the phone sounded confused, so I gave a description of my home health care aide to her. (BTW: My home health care aide was the only African American customer and was constantly being passed over for the white customers. When we finally got our food, I drove home (New Tampa). After all the wait and rudeness (racially driven), we saw that half of my order had been left out! I called at approximately 5:27pm to speak to the manager. A boy answered the phone and told me that there was no manager at the site today. I asked him the name of the manager, and after stumbling for words, he hung up on me. I immediately called back (5:28 pm) and the same girl who I spoked to earlier (when I called to inquire how much longer it would be for our food to be ready) answered the phone. I asked for the name of the guy who hung up on me, and she refused to give me his name. I then asked her what her name was, and again she refused to give me her name. I will be searching through the business license administration for the name of the owner of this business and will be speaking to the owner directly. I never will do business with this...
