When placing an online order, I do my best to understand that substitutions cannot be made. Upon entering the building, seeing my pieces being made, I requested a red sauce base on a pizza that gets white cheese. I informed him there is no way to submit this online. They told me no, and feeling a bit of tension in his response I asked is this because you may get in trouble for this? Is it not allowed? The general manager looked at me right in the face and told me no! Well that tells me they don’t care about what their customer thinks or want, which is that’s the case why are you a general manager and why are you making food? I can completely understand if you looked at me and said we can get in trouble for this. It is literally not allowed to happen, but that was not what I was told. I was told no I don’t wanna do it. That’s really terrible to hear from a general manager, especially when the young man who cashed me out had only been there three weeks when I inquired about his Gms demeanor and that’s what he has to go on? Sheesh. I won’t be coming back, but I assume they probably don’t care.
*update — Big surprise the food was terrible. The pizza was decent but the cheesy bread wasn’t edible. All the cheese melted to the center and it was over cooked. That means the dough rose to high during cooking and the cheese slid down to far. That means your GM isn’t preparing the dough properly....
Read moreI was very excited about a Marco’s opening closer to me. I love the one on 66th and figured this would be just as good. I ordered an 8 pie order 4 days in advance for my daughter’s birthday party. Delivery at 1145AM. I used the specials they had going and it was a total of $73 and change.
Cut to the day of, the food is 45 minutes late. That’s great when you have a birthday party full of hungry kids and adults. On top of that, the receipt shows $125!! It’s not the delivery driver’s problem, so I signed it and told her I’d call later. I call, and the MOD tells me they cancelled all the discounts because “they’re not running them anymore”. Boohoo, you were running them when I booked the order and paid for it. She says call back to speak to the GM after 3
I call after 3, the GM is not here today. Call back tomorrow. I call the next day, same story. Except the person on the phone prints out my order and leaves it for the the GM to call me back. To no surprise, I never received a call from the GM. I called twice more and the GM had “just left” both times. Now I have to dispute the charge through my credit card
I will be going to the one on 66th from now on. I am so disappointed in this location. I can’t imagine it lasting long
