Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Largo

I would give them ZERO stars if I could! This is the most atrocious example of customer service (and pizza making) I've EVER experienced. We've ordered pizza from this location 4 times since they opened. Every time has been a good experience except today. On our way from a long road trip, we decided we'd pick up a stuffed pizza. Our usual - tomato, garlic on the whole thing, with pepperoni on half, spinach on the other half. Not a super difficult order. We picked up the pizza and drove about 20 minutes home. We open the pizza and see some kind of liquid dropping off the top (definitely not tomato sauce, which is typical on a stuffed pizza - and any pizza for that matter). We stick our finger in it and realize the pizza is DRENCHED in BARBECUE SAUCE. Really? Ok....Our first thought is, that's fine - mistakes happen. So we call them because it's assumed that when an establishment makes a mistake, they're going to fix it. WRONG! They refused to deliver the correct pizza to us because we are 5 minutes outside of their delivery zone. They said it was not possible. My husband was the one who spoke to a woman named Angelina, and since she was unreasonable he then spoke with a woman named Nicole...he was very kind and reasonable in his request. They said we could pick up the pizza or get a store credit. Needless to say, after a long road trip, we didn't feel like driving back so that they could fix the mistake that THEY made. We gave them multiple chances to do right by us and they refused so we asked for a refund. So now we have a pizza with barbecue sauce all over it that we can't eat, and nothing for dinner after a long trip out of town. We kept returning to this location due to lack of good Chicago pizza in this area. Chicago pizza joints don't seem to do well in this area for some reason, and we continued to order from them because the pizza is normally pretty good, and we were hoping to help keep them in business. However, something I cannot and will not deal with is poor customer service and this is close to the worst I've ever experienced. After this situation, I will be sure to let everyone I know that they should not order from this location and I won't be sad if they go out...

CHICAGO...STAND UP!!! When I tell you that Rosati's Pizza got it right with their Italian Beef sandwich...THEY GOT IT RIGHT!

The very first bite had me saying out loud: Oh... IT'S A WRAP!🏆

(DoorDash delivered my order) The presentation alone had me feeling confident, that I made the right decision choosing Rosati's Pizza, to satisfy my craving for an Italian Beef sandwich...Chicago style (the most authentic way). 🤪💯💪🏾

My eyes immediately took notice of the crinkle cut fries along the side of the Italian Beef sandwich in the food container. I couldn't help BUT to smile with a strong sense of affirmation 😁! In Chicago, an Italian Beef sandwich is NOT that "thang", if it does not come with crinkle cut fries... seasoned to perfection.

The way that my Italian Beef sandwich was wrapped took me back in time...to the nights that, I would pick up an Italian Beef sandwich on the Southside.

Last, but certainly not least, the side of Au Jus. My initial glance of the generous amount of perfectly warmed Au Jus on the side was...Rosati's Pizza isn't playing around 💪🏾💯!

Now that my review has likely left you craving for an Italian Beef sandwich...you know what to do next...order from...

Ordered delivery for 5 people (all different orders)

Person 1- Deep Dish Pizza extra cheese- said very tasty Person 2- Fettuccini Alfredo and Peperoni Calzone- said its okay, not bad but not great, definitely not olive garden. But you do get a lot for your money. Person 3- sandwich and cheese sticks- said the Italian beef in the sandwich was excellent Person 4- tiramisu and breaded mushrooms- had no comment.

Person 5 (Me)- Table Salad, Penne Alfredo, Tiramisu- The Delivery was horrible. I work in an office building and went downstairs when the order said "3 min till delivery" online. 5 min later the website said "4 min till delivery. I walked outside and waited. 5 Min after that I called and the person said that the Delivery driver had already left. It took an additional 10 min for him to arrive and walk into the lobby. Our business in across the street from Rosati's. The order took a total of 1 hr and 25 min to make and deliver. The Alfredo Sauce is lacking in flavor (salt) but otherwise good. Great price for the salad and the tiramisu, both good!

Also, beware they charge for silverware.... and extra $3 and some change for "place...
