Peking Garden — Restaurant in Larned

A pretty nice little Chinese buffet for such a small town. I miss the old owners they were much nicer. The food is the same as when the old owners were there but last time I went the sweet and sour chicken was squishy which hadn't ever happened to me before. The food is great only like a rare occasional mess up in food. The service was ok the food was delicious other than the squishy sweet and sour chicken which isn't normally like that. Decoration wise The new owners made the fish tank smaller it's always dirty which never happened with the old owners. I recommend eating here but remember it is a small town buffet so not a ton of options like a Wichita buffet. But like I said for it being a small town buffet it's pretty great. Im not sure but I think it's a bit higher priced with the new owners if I remember correctly it used to be 8$ for the buffet now it's 9$ but I might be wrong. It's a great place to eat no matter the price. The only thing I don't like to eat is the ice cream there it's just not something I care for it's kinda powdery sometimes and it's almost always icy. I came in during lunch to try out the buffet, however when I got there at 1pm, the buffet was pretty much empty with a few scraps here and there or dishes that had all the meat picked out it...so when I asked if they were going to put more out the gentleman was sort of annoyed with me. The "locals" who frequent this establishment are disgusting. I've never seen so many ppl, not wash/sanitize their hands BEFORE handling food. The locals grab food off the buffet with their bare hands, lick their fingers, eat off their plates in line, blow their noses in the dining room, etc...
