Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Larned

Because we love Pizza Hut pizza, we decided on a whim to give it one more try over the wknd. We were pleasantly surprised to see the dining area clean and the salad bar in better shape than our last visit. A new (to us) waitress was very pleasant and efficient. I have added 2 more stars to my previous review.

We are new to town and stopped in for dinner (approx 2 months prior to this review). There were several tables not wiped, salad bar was sad looking. It was after 2pm so I thought it would have been tidied up after lunch rush. The pizza was ok, the wings were very good. Service was slow and we heard yelling coming from the back. We figured they were having an off day so we tried again a week or so later and it was more of the same except for a younger male waiter who was very polite and attentive. On the 3rd visit it was very clean and the waitress was very prompt and courteous. We thought things were looking up and even complimented her on the appearance of the dining area. Our last visit was a few days ago and it was back as it was on our first visit. We stood in the lobby area for quite some time with no one acknowledging us. My husband even opened and closed the door again to make it "ding" but still no one came out. We did see a couple employees across the salad bar area but they ignored us. I finally yelled "HELLO" and someone walked out looking agitated. There was only one other customer so they weren't busy unless it was for deliveries. The tables were littered with empty glasses, plates and crumbs while the wait staff were all in the back. One waitress did come out behind the counter to grab some candy from the candy dish but walked back into the back. We were never offered refills, nor have we ever been on any visit. I got them myself (or is the the norm for this particular store?) We needed a to-go box but since no one ever comes to check after the food is served, we've had to go find a box ourselves or bother someone to get it. We are typically generous tippers, at least 20% but usually more, however this last time we left a $5 on the table and called it good. By far the worst PH we've ever been to. The food wasn't the issue at all, it's the service, or lack thereof, yelling and employees acting like they are being bothered when they have to deal with a customer. Additionally, 3 out of 4 times it's been a mess during a time that doesn't appear to be busy with only a couple of other patrons. All 4 of these visits were between the hours of 2-4pm and on a week day. It seems like these employees have not been taught any customer service skills or how to deal with the public. Very...

Only because my personal pan pizza was good. But I went to the Larned, Kansas location last night. And find out today that they charged my card twice. I gave the person that took my order a $2.00 tip, but she charged me not only for the amount and tip, but charged my card a 2nd time for just the amount without the tip. So I called the store trying to explain to the manager what happened, she said " oh I need a copy of your bank statement to be able to do anything , and that they do that, hold one amount to the other clears" I said nope, that never happen to me because I'm always checking my account. She said, " well there is nothing I can do, this came from my manager ". I said ok, never again, yall just lost my business, and I'm call your corporate office. She just look at me like and, well I guess her body guard Mr. Slim Jim was making sure she was safe. I would say more but I'm not. Just be aware, pay with cash!!!!!! This is my opinion and no one has to like it, so keep on...

Almost $100 worth of pizza ordered....first off have extra time for them to prepare and still sat in the drive thru to pick it up for 30 minutes. Employees gave wrong pizza out the window to us and it being opened to look at they then after gicen back as "not ours" they proceeded to give it to a customer inside getting their order. They totally missed 4 medium pizzas and a full size cheese breadstick on our order as well as a full size cheese breadstick. The pizzas were then given to us and they still gave us a half order of plain breadsticks and when told the breadsticks were wrong still only gave us another half order of plain breadsticks. We finally got aggravated enough with all the errors and missing items that we left and just took what we were given. Got home to find the pizzas were all poorly made with "bald" spots all over the pizzas. Not an apology or offer to make things right at all from employee...
