So, today was the first time trying this JJ. Walked in, observed a team member sweeping "not the most glorious" function but he swept and took care of cleaning up as if he owned the area...thumbs up!!! Cleanliness especially the soda section was excellent,, no cross contamination and was kept orderly. Observed the line of sandwich creation. One issue when orders are processing... small suggestion with tickets that are passed on to the sandwich makers, instead of mixed tickets for food to be assembled. If no digital or electronic system, from start to finish a rotary to put tickets on and removed to a nail stub when order is completed. Don't get me wrong. The team us fast n efficient but as I was there a customer came back in from drive thru and somehow missed some sandwiches that was missing from their order. The team quickly made the missing items but possibly need a better handoff when orders are completed just for quality...freaky fast but not good if orders incomplete!!! For my order a regular tuna, I think it was a #9. Which. Tuna well balanced and not overly wet...ingredients were perfect and no fish after taste i gave a five due to balance with the bread texture, firm and soft quality... All together GREAT job from all...
Read moreUpdate 6-2-24, I was so happy with the spicy Italian. I thought I would drive over from the east Mesa to try the Tom turkey. The question I have about this sandwich is like the old Wendy’s commercial except for one word. Where is the meet? I wanted a healthier option because the spicy Italian, as good as it is, is loaded with fat and sodium. I wish I could take a picture. Anyway, not happy. I noticed at the bottom of their menu sign as I went through drive-through that you can request more stuff so maybe next time I request double the turkey?
Place is clean, tables bussed. Remind me to bring a sweater. Sandwich fine, service Update, 5-24. They have a new sandwich called the “spicy Italian” that is superb. I get it to go, generally. (Older review)OK, but the 3rd time I have been here when the AC is turned WAY down- enough to make you want to leave after 10 minutes. They play the music loud, so you have to raise your voice to have a conversation. Hey, its a restaurant, not a pub, guys! Set the AC up a bit! Go 2 volume clucks down on the...
Read moreOrdered a meal for the family, order came and was left on a chair outside and no notice, full house and plenty of hungry folks waiting for subs. Went to take the trash out and found other apt tenants dogs stopped by to eat the food for us. Called up jimmy johns to find out why the delivery person either knocks like a mouse and ran away before making sure we had the food or didn’t ring the bell. Was told that we should have been waiting outside for the order and guessed when it would show up. Also told that back in the day, they lived here and my apartment complex doesn’t have doorbells. News to me since I’ve been here 10 years and the buzzer works just fine. Then I got hung up on without an apology for the circumstances. No apology at any time. Even from...
