Update* 2/28/23. Visited back a few months after my prior ok visit. Unfortunately, it was the most odd and bad experiance. I walked in, there were 3 groups of people before me waiting in line. Seemed normal and did not deter me. I was looking at my phone in line when one group of people left the line without ordering. I thought maybe they got tired if waiting, but I then noticed the shift manager like acting out in a bafoonish manner and spinning chicken tongs around and yelling out names jokingly (I guess). He was ignoring the front line and went back to chatting with the other employees with his back towards the line and talking out loud. That's when another group of people in the line left now too. It was like he was playing a show in his head and acting it out, was so bizarre. I didn't know whether to leave too or watch this play out. I made my way to the front of the line now after everyone started leaving and he turned around abruptly and asked "are you here for an app order?". I almost busted out laughing, did this guy not suddenly see the line went from 6 people down to one? I said "no", then he turned around and continued to his own business. That is when I decided to leave too, no confidence in this restaurant at all at this point. The shift manager probably didn't even notice and still behind the counter singing into his chicken tongs or performing stand up comedy to the back crew.
Original Review (9 mo. ago, 3 star rating). Welcomed quickly. Men's bathroom soap dispenser broken and laid to the side. About every table inside was dirty. Sat at the one with the least crumbs . Read moreUpdate 4/2023: Within months of opening, service has done downhill fast. I ordered the 12 piece mixed original and spicy and two full sides and had to wait more than 20 minutes. The wait was too much, but I didn't mind it much...until we dug in. Got home and of the 12 pieces one was spicy, the rest were original. Of the two sides, one - the coleslaw - was at best 3/4th full.
The receipt has a website to go to report your meal. I go through SEVERAL questions, most of which are fill in the blank, which I do, giving them the whole thing. Then the questions repeat themselves. What?!
Eventually, the survey asks if I'd like someone to call me about my experience, I selected yes - and I haven't heard a peep.
I've waited weeks to update this review because I didn't want to sound petty or still be angry, but as I write this, I still am angry.
Based on the other ratings, I'm not alone.
I haven't even been back to the restaurant. I don't know when I'm coming back. Or if. People prepared my family's dinner KNOWING it was wrong, that items were shortchanged - and still sent someone out to my car with a smile to send me home with my screwed up order. And then I report the experience to the company, and no one replies?
I've gotten more reliable service from an emergency room vending machine.

Read moreI'm only writing this review to Plead with This restaurant's ownership if it is a franchise or corporate,,, with managers and staff. I have work in the hospitality industry for over 32 years. Please take these reviews seriously. I've honestly only ate there once because someone bought it for me Just like KFC the food portion has shrunk so yeah I don't know about the portion size and spending the money. But if you truly want to succeed in this location and not go down in flames and fail, retrain everyone starting with management. It's crazy to read some of the comments. I honestly wanted to go get dinner today but after reading so many 1star reviews I just can't bring myself to go even try again. This is where we are, everything is shared online. Please don't think you're going to succeed if you keep getting reviews like this. YES there are plenty of places to get fried chicken, but shouldn't your goal be making your customers wanting to come back... Don't make the same mistake Kmart did. They failed cause they didn't put in the effort to retrain, refocus, or act like they cared what customers were saying . Being so new I should see some more 5 stars at least about the staff and management it's a new place. Take pride, make your location#1 in LC,. BUT what I'm reading here. Not good Popeye's not good.
