My recent visit to this pizza and Italian restaurant was an absolute nightmare, and it all stemmed from their complete disregard for the principle of "first come, first serve." To make matters worse, I discovered that the restaurant exclusively catered to reservations, leaving walk-in customers like myself feeling utterly excluded and disrespected. When I arrived at the restaurant, I anticipated a short wait before being seated. However, it quickly became apparent that this establishment had no intention of honoring the concept of fairness and equal treatment for all. The person in front, rather than acknowledging the waiting customers, focused his attention solely on those who had made reservations. It was as if the restaurant believed that only those with prior arrangements deserved to be served, while the rest of us were invisible. I approached the host, politely expressing my frustration and inquiring about the possibility of being seated. He responded with a dismissive attitude, stating that they were fully booked with reservations and had no availability for walk-in customers. The complete lack of consideration for those who had taken the time to visit the restaurant without a reservation was disheartening, to say the least. Not only was the "first come, first serve" principle disregarded, but the restaurant also failed to communicate their reservation-only policy clearly. There were no signs or notices indicating that walk-in customers would not be accommodated. It felt like a deliberate attempt to mislead and inconvenience unsuspecting patrons. Feeling frustrated and disrespected, I decided to observe from the waiting area. It was disheartening to see empty tables remain unoccupied, while eager customers were turned away simply because they hadn't made a reservation. The restaurant's exclusive approach not only created an atmosphere of elitism but also demonstrated a complete lack of respect for those who had chosen to dine spontaneously. Regrettably, I cannot comment on the quality of the pizza or Italian food the overall dining experience, as I was denied the opportunity to try them firsthand. However, based on the restaurant's blatant disregard for fairness and customer inclusivity, it is difficult to imagine that the food or service would be anything remarkable. In conclusion, I strongly advise against visiting this pizza and Italian restaurant, especially if you are a walk-in customer. Their complete disregard for the "first come, first serve" principle and exclusive reservation policy demonstrate a lack of respect for their customers. Spare yourself the frustration and disappointment by seeking out an establishment that values all customers, regardless of prior...
Read moreWent in for lunch, and I ordered a Stromboli. The Stromboli came out and looked great, shiney, brushed with oil and grated cheese. I cut a 1/4 into the Stromboli, and it was ALL CHEESE that I saw. So i thought maybe they didn't spread the filling around. I dipped it in the sauce they gave. It was warm, pureed tomatoes that lacked any flavor. So im eating my Stromboli that was really a calzone when I cut another 1/4 of it. This time, I got a little bit of meat, an obnoxious amount of thinly sliced red onions, and an absurd amount of mozzarella cheese. The next 1/4 had no meat, just thinly sliced red onions. I couldn't finish it. The amount of cheese and lack of filling for this "Stromboli" just made me mad that they didn't just call it a confused calzone. I got the last 1/4 to go. The server asked me if I wanted more sause to go, and i said yes. She boxed it the last 1/4 of the Stromboli, and i got a small ramekin of about 2oz of sauce. At this point, i was more curious if the meat and peppers were just on one side of this Stromboli or this was just a confused calzone. The server brings my leftovers and the check. She charged me an extra $1 for the 2oz of sauce that i got to go. I brought the Stromboli home and picked it through it. There was no meat, no peppers, only cheese, and thinly sliced onions. The Stromboli presentation was great, not too dark, and not too light. But inside, it was a calzone filled with red onions and no flavor. I don't remember seeing onions listed on the Stromboli ingredients, but I know there were peppers and meats. The Stromboli had very little meats and peppers and a gross amount of cheese and thin onions in it. In the restaurants I've run, I would not let the kitchen serve that as a Stromboli. It was more like a calzone without ricotta. The sauce they served had zero flavor. Even a splash of EVOO would add something other than canned tomatoes. Then, to charge on top of that, without notice, was a slap in the face. I have canned tomatoes. i can puree at home if i knew you were charging for it. I like to promote small restaurants, but I can not tell people to eat there " It's great" and still be able to call myself honest. Good luck if you, hope you have better luck. Id stay away from...
Read moreI recently visited this place with my family for the first time, having no prior knowledge about the food or any social media hype. We happened to be in the area and wanted pizza. In 2024, most people use cell phones to find places, so we found this spot through a quick Google search and website visit.
As soon as we walked in, there was no polite greeting or any greeting. Instead, the first question from Nova at the front door was "How many people?" It was earlier in the day during a weekday, and it was a special day for us.
Nova frowned and expressed frustration, saying we were supposed to make a reservation. This was surprising since the place was empty, and there was no logical explanation for why we couldn't be seated. She mumbled something about having the space but insisted we should have made a reservation.
I was shocked by the rudeness and negative energy from Nova. This is a tiny hole-in-the-wall in what isn't regarded as the best part of Las Vegas, and the rudeness was completely unexpected. In my experience, small hole-in-the-wall restaurants that have return customers over time usually express gratitude for even one more customer.
This place is not deserving of any business. It seems, based on other reviews, that this kind of behavior happens frequently. Why wouldn't this be resolved by adding specific requirements on the front page of their website? How can you expect people to telepathically know your expectations?
I don't see this business continuing much longer. You reap what you sow. A business is NOTHING WITHOUT ITS FAITHFUL RETURNING CUSTOMERS and their sincere word-of-mouth recommendations. Hype from one-time customers doesn't sustain a business over time.
We tend to gather with family numerous times throughout the year, and this experience was a huge disappointment. I can't and won't recommend this place based on the poor customer service...
