Does anyone else hate it when restaurants that advertise gluten-free don't train their staff on any of their gluten-free procedures to be able to answer customer's questions?

As someone with celiac disease who must eat 100% gluten-free as my only available treatment, I have to ask about cross contamination procedures every single time to make sure I can safely eat. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease. I won't go into anaphylactic shock if I eat gluten because it's not an allergy - instead my intestines will be damaged and it can cause cancer.

My husband and I went right when the restaurant opened for the day and the wait staff had to ask the chef how the chicken wings on the gluten-free menu were cooked after I asked if they were cooked in a shared fryer with their gluten-containing spring rolls or wontons. Then they came out with undisclosed-on-the-menu fried shallots and I had to ask what was on those. I asked about if their gluten-free rice noodles are cooked in the same water as gluten-containing chow mein noodles. The wait staff had to ask the chef again and they told me I'd be the first noodle order of the day so it was okay. Ummm but what if I wasn't the first order of the day? What are your procedures to prevent cross-contact with gluten?

I don't feel confident that the staff understands the dangers of cross-contact with even a crumb of gluten if their staff can't answer those questions without running back and forth to the kitchen to ask.

I was soooooo annoyed when my $15 chicken pad kee mao came out with gluten-free spaghetti. I literally buy gluten-free flat rice noodles at the Asian grocery stores in town. Are you telling me a Thai restaurant owned by a Thai person with Thai staff can only get Italian noodles that are gluten-free? The sauce tasted fine but the texture wasn't right because of the spaghetti.

I noticed on my receipt that the order of 6 tamarind chicken wings for $13 with the crispy shallots didn't have gluten-free marked on it but my main dish did. "Gluten-free" isn't a lifestyle, it's a term with a legal definition by the FDA because people with celiac disease need to be able to figure out if they can safely eat at a place. This restaurant needs to retrain their staff on cross-contact and food allergens...

Mood- Labor Day Celebrations

Today I reached out to a couple of friends and we decided to grab some food here as you cant go wrong with Thai food. It was def nice to beat the heat as it has been ridiculous weather here.

Upon entering was quickly greeted and ushered over to a table. The other part of my party had not arrived yet, but it was ok and I was allowed to sit until they arrived. I felt so bad for our server as the AC had just went out when my friends sat down and he had to move us to a larger table. We all kind of just laughed and went with it. ( Make lemonade when life throws you lemons )

Menus were given and we were asked if we had any questions. At this time we did not as we all knew we were just hungry. We opted for Thai Tea, Potstickers, Beef Salad, Duck with Rice, and Shrimp Chow Mein. Complimentary Infused water was given along with soup and crispy egg roll. Can I say no one at my table complained at all. ( And yes I was with Picky Adult Eaters ) We all raved about how great the food was. I took my salad home and it was still amazing.

Interior is large. There are several seating arrangements. Booths along with table and chairs in the middle. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background along with a television going. It truly made for a nice meal.

Would most def recommend - pricing is a reflection of quality and presentation. Staff were beyond hospitable and courteous. My table was continually checked on. The duck is still being talked about. So I am sure that we will be coming...

Ordered over the phone and tried this restaurant for the first time. Ordered take out for my kids because hubby & I are dining out. Let me just say, I know a good Thai restaurant by their papaya salad & their papaya salad slaps hard (amazingly delicious) full of flavor & spices! Just the right amount! I also ordered their bbq & chicken fried rice, the beef & chicken broccoli, this does not disappoint at all! Not sure what the negative reviews were about but I call bs. This is a very good Thai restaurant, as each dish reminded me of all the times my friend Ning (from Thailand) would cook for us. The portions are a very good size considering prices are high everywhere, it is reasonable. I encourage you to give this restaurant a chance & not go by the negative reviews. I am an expert when it comes to great Thai food. Thank you for making delicious, flavorful & fragrant meals. The mango sticky rice!! Chef’s kiss. Also the gentleman was very polite & gave two free boba drinks for trying for the first time. I found my new favorite Thai restaurant! Worth...

Really nice take out dining experience. Ordering was easy because of menu layout. Love all the protein choices. However when you say "Vegan" as a protein choice the male server still asked Tofu? But Tofu and Veggies are listed separately than Vegan. So maybe more clarification on that. Servers were friendly. Came in and placed my order yesterday for the first time, but saw others picking up food as well. I waited less than 10 minutes. Ordered mango curry-tofu (came with a side of rice), veggie spring rolls and drunken noodles-veggies. I found my food a bit oily but feel that is normal. Mango curry was hard to find the tofu, maybe they cut the tofu into smaller pieces. Spring rolls were on point with a delicious sauce. Wish there was more veggies in the drunken noodles. Seems like it was standard amount for the dish, perhaps add a little extra veggies when someone adds it as a protein. Atmosphere of restaurant was modern, a bit dark, but that seems to be the theme of Vegas 😆 Overall good experience. Would order from them again.

I really wanted to give this new place 5 stars. Unfortunately the service was very slow as there is only one server taking orders (who was nice and apologetic). Ordered crab Rangoon to start and they were small and little to no filling. I thought ok maybe 4 stars. Then after 30 minutes my pad thai came out. Flavor was great, loved it. Once I noticed the noodles were thin like SPAGHETTI noodles ! That puts it to 3 stars for me. I have NEVER been given pad thai without pad thai noodles. Got there 12:50, didn't leave till 2. Water came with a strawberry which was cute. We were a party of 2, just me and my mother. Not 10.
