While visiting Las Vegas this week, everyone I spoke to said we had to stop by and check out Burnt Offerings - a local meat restaurant. So on our first day, thatās exactly what we did. The owner Alexandra was very welcoming and the servers were really on top of all the diners inquiring about drinks or they needed anything else etc. When I asked what were the must have dishes, I was told that the Loaded Rachel Fries, BBQ Beef Nachos, and the 5 Hand Made Chicken Tenders were among the most popular apps. We also ordered their world famous Western Bacon Cheeseburger and off their Chinese menu the very popular General Tsoās Chicken. Firstly, the food came very quickly. The Loaded Rachel Fries were everything they were supposed to be. A bed of crispy fries tossed with their in house truffle oil and special seasoning. Every bite was crispy goodness. I personally went nuts for the BBQ Beef Nachos. The home style pulled beef had some great barbecue sauce and went great the with house made tortilla chips. Add some onions, tomatoes and marror (yes I Said marror) and creamy Italian sauce and it was the perfect bite. The chicken tenders were crunchy on the outside and soft of the inside. The accompanying honey mustard dipping sauce was a great surprise and went really well. Now for the burger. I canāt say I have ever tried any kind of vegan cheese or ākosherā Cheeseburger, but this thing was really good. It consisted of a hand pressed patty, the their signature house made vegan ācheeseā sauce, tangy BBQ sauce, ābaconā and even an onion ring. You definitely needed two hands to eat this burger. As was the case with everything else, the General Tsoās was delicious. It didnāt have too much soy sauce and wasnāt too tart. It came with Jasmin rice and I asked for fried rice and was perfect. They also have wine and a drink menu. I had the Leeche Passion fruit Mojito and my wife had the Strawberry Watermelon Mocktail. Both were delicious and very refreshing on a hot day. Yes, they do have steaks, sandwiches, meatloaf and chicken Marsala as well as many dishes, but honestly with the ones we ordered, the two of us could barely finish all of it. I think the most surprising thing was the bill. So reasonable. I thought they made a mistake. Probably half the price of a restaurant in the tri- state area. I highly recommend next time you are in town. Tell them...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is kind of a tough review because I think that culturally this is probably a great restaurant. The reason I am writing this is to inform others like me, without dietary restrictions, what to expect. A lot of the foods I enjoy are far from kosher.
I had the bacon cheese burger with fries. The ābaconā is made from beef. It was actually kind of interesting, even good but obviously not bacon. I didnāt really like the beef patty. I ordered it rare and it was prepared medium. It was an interesting flavor but I canāt say that Iāve had a burger with this kind of flavor. For those who have had a burger in Mexico, you know that itās decent but just not how it tastes in the U.S. The ācheeseā was not really cheese. It was a ācheeseā sauce made from vegetable ingredients⦠being appreciative of the culture, I understand but a cheeseburger without cheese? It was a little tough for me.
The fries were good but at the end of the day, they are fries.
My wife had the meatloaf with steamed veggies. It was pretty decent but not the best Iāve ever had.
The portions were ok and Iād even like to say that ok for the price at $10 but this place was very pricey. For a $30 burger, this should have been the best burger Iāve ever had because it is definitely was the most Iāve ever paid for one. I could only attribute the price to the kosher preparation.
The waitress was very nice and did her best to help me find an option for my tastes. I commend her for doing her best to fit a round peg in a square hole.
Overall, I think the restaurant is very true to kosher and culture. The patrons who were there seemed to enjoy it very much. We have been to Israel and this restaurant seemed true to that. They say that they have the best burger but if that were qualified as the best kosher burger that may be true. If you want a cultural experience, this is your place. For someone like me who doesnāt have the dietary restrictions, I would exercise...

Normally I dont write bad reviews but when she treats me so bad and talks so bad to me after i paid $20 Uber to go and $20 Uber to get back I feel like I had to write a review. You always have to remember the times you are busy to treat customers with respect and when you are slow. I am so mad at the lady owner for trating me this way. Will...
