The food was delicious, and I’ve gone here with a friend a few times already, and I’d love to come again.
Unfortunately, some of the ingredients that my friend really likes, they happen to be out of or don’t have anymore, such as the intestines, chicken feet, and the duck.
I can understand that some dishes may get sold out but we’ve gone a few times already and they didn’t have it. One of the waitresses said that they just don’t have it anymore because it’s not that popular, so if that’s the case, I totally get it, then, perhaps please change it on the menus. Because one of our dishes didn’t have a certain ingredient like the intestines or chicken feet, and the waitress told us after the fact, when the food had arrived at the table. My friend was disappointed, because that’s why he ordered that dish, for that particular ingredient.
If any of the dishes have changed with their ingredients, such as no more blood cubes, intestines, chicken feet, duck, etc. please have the service staff communicate that as customers order their dishes, or update the menus so the staff don’t have to do that. And if those ingredients are being replaced with something else too. It’d be most appreciated.
We still love the food and will be...
Read moreI'm so glad to have found this hidden gem! Jumpa Lao offers superb authentic Thai and Lao cuisine, with the same flavors and ingredients I've enjoyed in Thailand and Laos. The portions were generous, and the prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality of ingredients.
Our seafood Po-Tak hotpot was a masterpiece, filled with large mussels, prawns, cuttlefish, and a flavorful broth packed with spices and herbs. The big tray papaya salad, served with rice noodles and an array of sides like boiled eggs, Lao sausage, and fermented cabbage, was simply outstanding. The crispy pork belly and its dipping sauce were equally delicious.
The overall dining experience was wonderful, with a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. It's a great option for families, and while they don't serve alcohol, you're welcome to bring your own drinks. The staff even suggested a nearby store where we could easily purchase beer or other beverages.
If you're looking for authentic Thai and Lao cuisine in a decent atmosphere in Las Vegas, Jumpa Lao is a must-visit. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delicious and memorable...
Read moreWe dined in for dinner. The food was good, but most of what we got, we either didn't order, or was messed up. My dish was supposed to include blue crab and scallops, none of which could be found. It did have mussels, something not listed in the ingredients on the menu. The service was ok, but we could tell they were concerned about what they served us. No scallops were in my wife's seafood dish, either. Plus, I ordered mine with no spice, and it was quite spicy, my son ordered light spice and his was burning off his tongue. We are both well accustomed to hot dishes, but these were not as ordered. The shrimp was good. The flavors were all good. The interior is nicely decorated and welcoming. Soda is only served in cans, no fountain. The Thai beef jerky was rather chewy. Overall, the flavors were there, but they messed up nearly everything. Too many other really good Thai restaurants exist in town for us to be returning here anytime soon. I had taken some photos, but this place doesn't really deserve me posting any photos. They didn't even have any of the desserts available that were listed on the menu....
