I was extremely excited to visit this restaurant, because it came highly recommended and the food looked delicious on line. We arrived on Sunday at 3:00 pm, the restaurant is easily accessible, with plenty of parking. The restaurant is decorated in a cozy beach/ocean theme with a seating capacity 81. There were three televisions playing a Justice League Cartoon, vintage Soul Train and a Spike Lee Movie. There were both booths and tables, high top stool seating is also available. The restaurant does a very impressive impressive take out business, there was a line almost the whole time we see there. The menu is fairly basic, baskets run $21.99 to $92.99. The most expensive menu item is called Noah’s Ark and cost $249.00. The meal comes with 2 lobster tails, 2 Dungeness crab clusters, 1/2 lb king crab, 1/2 lb crawfish, six shrimp, corn, coleslaw, Hushpuppies and a side. We each had the Honey Butter Crab basket, which cost $59.99. It comes with 2 Dungeness crab clusters, six shrimp, 1 side, Hushpuppies, 3 corn, coleslaw, cocktail sauce and a lime. They forgot my coleslaw, cocktail sauce, Hushpuppies and lime. Although I did ask for and received the cocktail sauce. I chose a side of fries and the whole basket comes deep fried and saturated in honey butter. It was delicious, and different than any seafood that I’d ever eaten. The entire meal is very rich and indulgent, not for the health conscious! Sides are fries, sweet potato fries, Mac and cheese, loaded potatoes, onion rings and potato salad. The menu also offers starters, kids meals; and the only beverages are Pepsi and Kool aid. Although it’s not on the menu, a small chocolate lava cake is also offered. I really wanted to try the seafood gumbo, $29.99, it comes with rice. They were out of gumbo and the loaded potatoes. A drink menu boasts beer and cocktails. On the back of the menu is the menu for Vanilla Rice’s Hibachi House, which we were told was just outside the door. The waitstaff was friendly enough and the bathroom was clean and smelled of coconut. I rate the experience, as a whole, 3 1/2 stars.

Stay away! Absolute disaster... Food was mediocre at best. I would not go out of my way for it... Service was horrid. 20 minutes to get drinks. 45 minutes for our meal (And that's not a mistake, from what I understand, it just takes them an extremely long time in general to prepare food). The biggest problem was that I ordered a Non-alcoholic beer. I confirmed with the waitress 3 times that it was non- alcoholic... Of course she brought me an alcoholic beer in a plastic cup... Half way through it, I noticed something was wrong and I asked the gentleman who brought my food if the beer was non-alcoholic, and he said NO. The waitress came back and said it was her mistake and that she'd take the beer off the bill... After we received the bill, she then says "I can't take the beer off the bill because you drank half of it." I don't drink alcohol because of health reasons... This place is asking for legal issues. Keep in mind I was understanding and calm the entire time, and tried to enjoy as much of my meal as possible. I don't argue with people, because I don't think it's beneficial. If this is how they choose to run their business, I'm sure at some point it will catch up with them. Update: just brought home our to go order for my son and found a piece of broken plastic in his sandwich... UNACCEPTABLE!

This was a fantastic discovery for us as displaced Seattle natives. It's not specifically Seattle fish and chips but it's extremely good fish and chips and we loved every bit of our meal. My wife and I ordered the Cod fish and chips baskets and a shrimp po' boy sandwich to share. We also ordered some shrimp and corn on the cob as an appetizer. Our server Erica was wonderful. she made great recommendations and kept the tarter sauce flowing. Credit to the chef beyond the meal. In Seattle, we eat tarter sauce on everything, including hamburgers and chicken strips. Good tarter is essential to a great seafood meal and unfortunately, too many places try to get fancy with it and end up making foo foo tarter than sucks. When Erica told us that their tarter was sour cream based rather than mayo, we cringed. I had never once had tarter with a sour cream base that I liked at all. I was very happy to find upon tasting it that the tarter was as good as any mayo-based tarter I've ever had anywhere. The onion rings were also excellent. All in all, this place was a total win for us and we'll be back whenever we need to scratch our fish and chips itch. I'd say that they're even better than all but our very favorite spot in Seattle and they're so close, it's nearly perfect!

This was the dine in from hell when we first got there the waitress greeted us and we told her it was four people and she told us well. I’m a sit over here because I haven’t cleaned the other side yet and we told her that we’ll just wait until she cleans the other side because we wanted a booth, so then we were sitting there looking at what we wanted you this was our first time here and one thing for sure. I definitely look at what people who do food reviews by Keith Lee so I said OK I’ll take a chance so we made our orders everything seem fine , you know we seen another couple coming in to place an order and they didn’t get a chance to soon as we sat down or another waitress brought us catfish and chicken and that was not the order that we place so I guess because we said that wasn’t ours that’s when the dine in from hell finished really so that came up then we got our food. I ordered the red snapper with eight pieces of jumbo shrimp with coleslaw. My husband got the catfish basket with the side of bread. My son got the snow crab legs with fries and our baby son got loaded mashed potatoes so me and my husband got our plates first then our son did but our baby son didn’t get his for a long time so we were trying to wait not to mention. We never received our drinks until we had to get up and say something and when we did get our drinks, our son actually never received his drink until it was almost the end of us being done. I had to get up tell them that they made me a codfish and not red snapper young white lady insisted that the codfish was in beer batter whatever so after I said something, she copped an attitude. The rest of the time got upset because we were missing stuff went around everyone around us and asked them. How was their food instead of us, then my son finally got his watermelon Kool-Aid and they poked a hole in the bottom of the cup so it was leaking the whole time. We were pretty much starving at this point because we were waiting and we purposely came there so we can try the food and see how it tasted to be disrespected and treated wrong and I don’t know how many times my husband kept getting up to say something because something was wrong other people that were coming and we’re waiting for a long period of time. How long is the wait and again the white lady waitress had a big problem with people asking how long it was gonna take , I just want to say for a business that was hyped up by Keith Lee figure once you start getting people coming in you’re supposed to stay on top and continue to keep doing a good job. I was not happy with the snow crab was overly cooked, and the shrimp was overly cooked , the catfish I don’t know my husband just said he was starving. That’s why he ate it all. I’m not looking to tear this company down. I just hate this being my first time here after seeing reviews how we were being treated and how our food was placed to us not to mention our drinks were last and because we said something, my son got a hole in his cup, and it was leaking the whole entire time. oh yeah and I couldn’t believe my husband paid $80 for something where if we were really nice and wouldn’t of said nothing we wouldn’t have got most of our stuff and they still would’ve charged us and when we got the receipt it didn’t even show we ordered it Just show how much it cost. we did not...

Catchers Fish House

Food 5/5 Waiters/staff 5/5 Customer service 5/5 Manager 5/5

My husband and I visit Las Vegas every 3 to 4 months.

We found this gem of a place serving fresh Southern style seafood. They know what they doing in the kitchen! Served fresh seafood delivered to your table piping hot off the stove/grill/fryer & well seasoned!

The manager explained the menu items, their variety of spices and sauces. Who knew you can have honey infused seafood? What a combination!

The food is cooked to order any style you want fried, broiled , blackened you get it all!

Our Fried oyster appetizer was fresh, big, plump & juicy. Fried perfectly with the outside crunchy & juicy interior

Beer battered Onion rings were to die for. Perfectly fried to a golden brown. I could have eaten those all day but we came for the seafood and were not disappointed

Combo fish platter catfish & beer battered cod. Yum yum & yummy! Well seasoned fork flaky large pieces of fillet fish.

They were out of Dungeness crab so we ordered the Honey Butter Crab entree with Snow Crab instead of Dungeness. The manager explained that their seafood distributors had been out of Dungeness crab lately. She even called the distributor while at our table to see if they would have any for the time frame we would be in Vegas. She apologized to us again that they would not have any Dungeness crab. Boy oh boy, this was a lot of food! Honey butter snow crab was infused with a honey battered sauce. Delicious! 6 jumbo honey battered infused shrimp. 3 honey battered fried corn on the cob.and a variety of accompaniment.

The chickens & sausage gumbo had just the right heat.

Wait staff & manager came by our table often to check on us refilled drinks & if we needed anything. Staff was truly superb! The manager led by example as she too checked on us constantly! She explained what sauces go best with what dish. Service was great! We felt right at home but were given the royal treatment.

We visit local spots off the beaten path. We have been to many place on the Vegas strip been there done that.

Catcher's fish house is the place to go. We highly recommended! There prices are reasonable, the staff and the food is superb. We had to take leftovers but wishing you could have eaten more there. We will eat here every time we are in Vegas! Can't wait to try other...
